Omeka... Young mobile, perfect for are second unit. pricey, no doubt, but can think of all those easy dunks. Truly this is all we need. a backup center to withstand if/any time loss from yao. If we have a decent backup center, there's no reson why we wont be deep in the playoffs
Pryzbilla had the determination of Mutombo and is a very effective sholet blocker. If available he would make a great back up!!!! and not too expensive!!
Sorry about the title... ...a mod or whoever has the power to do so can change it. I would have to say Chandler, I guess. Is Pryzbilla expected to play at all this season?
Serge Ibaka. Thunder have Krstic (starter), Aldrich (lottery pick traded up for), BJ Mullens (1st round pick from last year), and Collison who also plays minutes at C.
I'd be all for bringing Emeka home, along with his little buddy, depending on how much we'd have to give for them.
Presti is a Morey type of guy. He was disappointed with Mullens and Krstic. Collison is getting older. Aldrich needs time and experience. Ibaka will get a lot of minutes there. Getting him is going to cost a lot IMO. This isn't fantasy league that we are talking about.
I would love to have Dalembert on this team. He would fit right in with his defense and bring a change of pace with his offense. Dalembert IMO, has more potential to be very good on this squad than any other center on the market. Of course, it's just an opinion
very misleading thread title.. it sounds as if Morey traded for a C, better to have asked, "what C would you acquire through trade?"
that being said I voted the Polish hammer, but Id like a for sure healthy Tyson Chandler also.. one of the top 3 post defenders in the league IMO
and ibaka is the one that got the most minutes in the playoffs. i don't think hes the one they want to get rid of.
Every time you say we're trading for Ibaka I can't help but sigh. We might be able to trade for Krstic or Mullens though. Keep up the good fight!
