None. I never understood the obsession with a black uniform. To me a black uniform is not the Rockets. I do not like tight fitting uniforms with sleeves. It is just ugly. I you point a gun to my head I dislike the red and yellow the least. But it is a clear downgrade from the sleeveless one from last year.
they haven't been revealed yet officially but you can see them thru nba2k16 videos. They will have two big red stripes and dirty white. They reveal one team a day so can take long till they are officially revealed. (we are at team no.7 now).
This is the best modern version they have come up with. The freaking Rockets are Red and Yellow. I know because I watched Hakeem win championships in those colors. If you really want sleeves to accentuate your guns (D12?), it should be a compression top under a traditional jersey.
The are the best uniforms probably in Rockets history. Someone needs to talk to Les and make him understand that. I like the clutch city ones that someone posted above as a better design than the ugly 2 line font. I think the people who design these uniforms don't work in sports.
So I haven't heard a clear answer on this yet. Us getting these new alternate uniforms, does that mean that we aren't going to have those alternate uniforms anymore? Because if so, that's terrible. Those have been the only uniforms that I have really liked since they changed to the pinstripe-cartoon uniforms in (1996? 1997?... I don't remember when that was) These new alternates....blah. The black ones are close to being good. I don't like that it has red trim and white letters, it looks like it kind of clashes to me. It should have had either red trim with red letters or white trim with white letters. Maybe something like red letters with white trim around the letters? I'm not sure, but somehow gotten those two colors to mesh together better. And what the hell is up with the checkerboard? The white and red don't seem to go together that well, but that is livable. The checkerboard goes and ruins it. The grey and clutch city jerseys... it NBA jersey that has sleeves is automatically ruined IMO. Nice try. Good idea. Poor execution. The letters are too big and clumsy looking. It shouldn't be on both the top and bottom of the number. I like the idea of a jersey that says clutch city, and love the idea of it using the same font from the 94-95 era, but in the way they did it, it looks too clown-ish, too cartoon-ish...it looks like something I would have liked when I was in 4th grade. All of that is just my opinion.
