Looks like with terrible injuries and trades, the biggest 1st and 2nd round threats have changed.

Clippers without Griffin is no longer a threat.

Pelicans much less of a threat without Cousins.

Thunder without Roberson is slightly less of a threat but still a threat. Timberwolves might now be moving up to 3rd seed over a depleted and weakening Spurs team. A 2nd round matchup with Timberwolves is dangerous, maybe on par with Thunder now.

The picture has become less clear.

After last game against new Orleands, I changed my mind about who I wouldn’t wanna face in the first round. First game we barely beat them and they didn’t have Davis right ?! And the other game we could barely keep up. Holiday has played well against us. And cousins and Davis combo was giving us a lot of problems or the pick and roll with Davis.
Even with Cousins out I wouldn’t wanna face them. And if cousins was playing in the series even less. We probably would be able to win and change our game plan like we did in the 4th. But it would be a tough match.

Don't matter who we play it's all about how we play.

    Indeed
If we play defense and move the ball. Or if we shoot well no one can stop us.
Realistically we could play great defense for 3 quarters or 2. Our offense is streaky Anderson ego and green.
But we got Harden and Cp3, they will make sure to get our guys open and get theirs. Capela needs to step up too.

I’m confident Harden will be extra motivated and cp3 ofc too. Hardens defense will step up as well he has been playing good def lately. Just a couple times he still loses sight of his man but he has been more focus.

Can’t wait but still a long way to go.

Let's say OKC getting 3rd seed is more and more likely.

Our easiest rode to the WCF (realistic match ups):
1st round: Denver - ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency
2nd round: Minnesota - ranked 24th in defensive efficiency

    Teams that don't want us:
    The Warriors

Spurs are gonna be tough because of their execution and experience. NO and OKC are tricky too. GS will be the biggest challenge in my opinion if we meet them.

Nothing scary about NO, Boogie is out for the season.

    Skill-wise i'd say Thunder

Overall as a team in a series, i still think Spurs are the most challenging

    Nuggets blazers

    Timberwolves

Gives GS some hard series before the WCF.
