Oops.....I meant thank you DaDakota. I had just read something Codell had posted. I knew it was one of you guys that have been posting for the last 30 years or so.
Nothing against China but I would love to see them lose early and allow Yao to have resting time, if the Rockets have any chance deep in playoffs they need a well rested Yao. On top of that I believe that he has all the confidence he needs after last years end of the year RAPAGE.
Even now that his commitments in the WBC are over, I don't think rest is on Yao's agenda. I think it's far more likely he's going to be working out like a madman. There's a lot at stake for him this season. Yao has shown that he can, indeed, dominate an NBA game and he knows that domination is exactly what will be expected of him. McGrady probably can't be convincingly relied upon to lead the team every night at this point, and if the Rockets miss the playoffs or make a first-round exit, there's a fairly good chance that Jeff Van Gundy will be out of a job. For Yao, carrying the Rockets on his back deep into the postseason would be the equivalent of 1,000 Charles Barkleys kissing an ass the size of Antigua. I firmly believe he's ready to focus his full attention (along with Anthony Falsone, of course) on turning himself into mother****ing Robocop before the NBA season starts
Though disappointed with CNT's performance in the last game vs Greece, I was still happy to see that Yao Ming would have more time to rest. Also, next season is the last season for JVG(I really dislike him, if possible, I would like to do anything to help dropping him) to prove himself, if Rockets cannot pass the first round in palyoffs, i do not think that he can continue to stay in Houston. Battire and Killbill have both proved themselves in the WBC, and now with a healthy T-mac and a dominant Yao Ming, JVG would have no other execuses.
I've seen it on the Weather Channel a number of times. My question is... why don't they describe what it is??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XAFCRT9L7A
I'm a newb, and as such......I can't make a new topic. Not that this is worthy of a thread by itself. According to NBA.COM, YAO was 12 years old when he was selected by the Rockets--number one--in 1992 **scroll down to the Yao and Franchise pic** http://www.nba.com/history/uniforms_rockets.html btw, I first saw this mistake in 2-4-05. Maybe if one of you email NBA.com to correct it.........It could bring good luck to YAO
In 2007,CNT will play all asian games with 2nd team. And 1st team will play a lot of game with american and european teams.Maybe their camp will be in houston. It has been decided.
