I just dont understand why people are taking offense to this thread. Nobody feels the same way?

OK, if no one feels the same way (waiting for TMAC to return to his old self) then go ahead and satisfy all the jokers on this thread that are begging and pleading for it to be locked.

Next person to use that "Houston we have a problem" statement seriously, should be banned for life.

What do you want me to say to a guy named tigerknee that is telling me that my personal frustations about our team sucking right now is on the "worst thread ever." Give me a break. Both of your responses have been no more than 3 words. Maybe you should try revamping your rebuttal buddy.

    Good one keep it up.

I would love for people to actually give their constructive criticisms on why they think this thread should be locked up instead of "uh...durrr I think this here thread should be locked up..." Talk about the topic at hand. TMAC - loved by all, but needs to get back in the mix quick for us to make the playoffs. If he doesnt - cool. I mean the guy has problems which are ok, but I wouldn't trade this guy for sure. His all around game in the playoffs is incredible. He basically exposed Dirk last year. I mean if youre' a "superstar" you are supposedly unstoppable. Well Dirk was far from it last year. I think in the absence of JHoward - even if we had Stro we could have pulled off the upset last year. I'm just waiting to read that article in the Chronicle with the heading "TMAC is BACK!!"

I don't think it deserves a lock. It may not exactly have a lot of substance to it, but it's not like he's just hating on T-Mac or something. Lots of people feel the way he does. Allow him to speak his mind.

Agreed. For the love of god, don't use it. This cliche is used in sports journalism so much it's just intolerable.

As for this thread.... TRIQSTER, do you read the bbs? There's junk that gets posted, but people get called on it.

If you're going to start a thread, you have to have some substance. Something. That original thread starting post was just.... nothing. Even if someone started a thread to vent their anxiety about Tmac's game, there would still be a few rolleyes, but some people would join in a conversation and vent together, or argue about how everything is going to be fine, or isn't.

Your first post was so.... lacking in anything, I wasn't even sure what the hell it meant. I had no idea what the point the thread was for, until you inevitably got bashed and defended yourself, saying that you had to vent about Tmac as if that was obvious. Dude, from your first post- it's not obvious. There's nothing to glean from it.

If you had posted that on the sixth page of a thread you'd still get some rolleyes, especially for that damned cliche you used (how can you be a fan since you were two and not want to puke every time you hear that?) But to start a thread with it? Come on. Have some more respect for the bbs. Say something, give us something to discuss or refute.

There's been a hundred other threads about TMac and his troubles. Try those. This one sucks balls.

Ok, you know how some people start threads like "Thank you JBarry" or some kind of shout out to players or personell; as if they can hear their crys for help, appreciation or whatever. Or when people watch games at home and they are chanting - "lets go Rockets", "Come on Yao" or something to that extent. Well, when I started this thread I had similar intentions. I mean I view this forum as a window, space, portal from which Rockets fans can let their voice be heard, give their "two cents." Come on, "respect this forum", if I didnt I would continually go off, and I mean go off on the jokers that kept calling for a lock. If anything there calls for a lock had no substance and backing. And as for the "houston we have a problem" line; I've heard that allot, I am 24yrs old and have been living here in houston all my life, and I said that to give some comic relief to my rant, nothing more. Pardon me, if I made anyone sick in the stomach from it.

I would just like people to use this thread and make their pleas for TMAC's return. Clutchfans has a voice which can and shall be heard by many which probably (small chance, but maybe) might be heard by TMAC himself. Or as I hope so.

The lock itself deserves a thread that way i can vote 5 stars just for that...and not boost the rating of this thread lol
