Where's the best place to get a breakfast taco in Houston?

    I'll also throw Taqueria Los Charros into the discussion. It's on Shepherd and Feagan (if youre coming from Kirby/Memorial Drive on Shepherd its on your right hand side before you hit Washington). Its a red colored building that looks like a house

    Pretty good breakfast tacos that they serve throughout the day. Also make a mean menudo for those hangovers on the weekend. I've never spent more than $20 there for two people. Less crowded than Taqueria Laredo and you sit down and order rather than wait in a long ass line. Worth checking out.

    I have, and I was NOT impressed. I've always enjoyed their BBQ, but they gotta get out of the breakfast taco game ASAP. First off, the tacos they served me were cold...which led to non-melted cheese. I need melted cheese on my tacos, bro.

    Second, the bacon they served was really thin and WAY overcooked.

    Overall, I would say that their breakfast tacos were < 'meh'.

    If you need tacos between 7-8 a.m., I would highly recommend Lila's on hwy 35. Around 8, Adelita's opens and their tacos are pretty amazing.

    Yep. It's not easy to find brisket or bbq breakfast tacos outside of Cabana, so in comparison to there, they're great.

    I must be the next person to agree with this. I went there all through high school and I can't lie, it is hands down the best place I've ever been for breakfast tacos. Small on the inside, looks very "hole in the wall" but the product is absolutely AMAZING!!!
