Steve left for personal reasons, last time I checked, watching a sunda football game constitutes as a personal reason. I would too if Quaker Falseton is starting over me
after watching the last two games, we need to start experimenting with other options at the gaurd. I personally would rather see brooks get some mins, but heck if we want to try to give SF a chance, that is better than watching the two clowns we have out there now jack up dumb shots. I thought there would be no way that, after shooting one of the worst air balls I've ever seen, Mike James would come down and shoot another selfish shot....but he did the very next play....and he of course bricked it. We have to get better at the gaurd!
not exactly the most eloquent way of phrasing it, but i agree with these sentiments 100%. it aggravates me to no end how stubborn adelman seemingly is, and how stubborn gundy was. like you said, adelman has never won a damn thing in the league, and nor had gundy. so, by my accounts, simply put, that means they have never been right. and he's clearly wrong about this situation and the way he's handling it, but pride wont allow him to admit he's wrong and give francis and/or brooks a chance. rafer alston is an awful awful player. his 2 best attributes are that he's a decent defensive player, and doesnt turn the ball over TOO much, but let's qualify the latter with the fact that none of us would want to see the ball anywhere near him in the closing minutes of a close game. rafer alston is an average to below average nba player, and luther head is nothing more than a fringe player. there is NO reason that francis and/or brooks shouldnt be getting some minutes at minimum. none. it's hurting nothing to work them in. adelman, like gundy and his handling of bonzi last year, is just too stubborn and power hungry. he wants francis to know he's his b****, and has too much pride and doesnt want the ensuing egg on his face from francis coming in and playing well. all that said, it's hard to complain too much while we're 5-1, but it's clear that we're playing sloppy as can be. we're basically looking like a slightly better version of last years team who is winning some games that we would have lost last year. would get us out of the first round finally, but we obviously all have loftier goals for this team.
I really agree with that last part. Give Adelman some time. He was always successful tinkering with lineups in Portland and Sacramento. Everyone was excited about M James and Stee-Fran this summer, but basketball wise, neither addressed our PG situation. Also, don't doubt that Morey is constantly working on something for us.
Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense. Memo, the Rox gave him an opportunity, a chance meaning nothing was guaranteed he had to work to earn his spot and he has done nothing with that opportunity. BTW, you're comparisons of Francis vs the REAL Rox team is clearly unintelligent and r****ded. Bonzi right now could beat Francis off the dribble and score with one arm tied behind his back. Stevie's potential would have made him better than ALL you've mentioned but, Stevie took his talent for granted and now Stevie is SCREWED! He'd better wake up and grow up or else he's washed up! The End.
