Doesn't look good for Kirk. That's too bad. He seemed like he had a great attitude dealing with the sporadic minutes. I hope he redoubles his efforts and works his way back into the rotation. He'll be a valuable piece in the playoffs, imo.

    wow

JVG putting Snyder in the doghouse because he doesn't work hard enough?!

Snyder looks like he works his ass off in the minutes he plays, IMO.

I get the feeling that JVG is just trying to convince himself that Snyder is a bad seed so the decision to play Bonzi over him is easier.

I guess Kirk got too cocky thinking his minutes were secured with Bonzi being in the doghouse.

That's bad news. We need every man out there giving 100 percent. I hope Snyder will get the message and learn from his mistakes.

Snyder plays the hardest out of anyone on our damn roster right now, I don't believe what JVG said.

Like last game he played 4 minutes of garbage time and had 5 pts, 1 rb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk or something.

In less than 5 MINUTES, who the hell does that? That's playing hard every opportunity you get...

    This is outrageous.

Actually, no, that's correct. Although you'd probably say "when coming back..."

It's possible that he wasn't interested in practice. I hope he can come back soon we need his energy and defense.

That's what I'm thinking. JVG was even quoted earlier in the week saying that he thought Kirk was playing really hard and with good energy. I think Kirk might have gotten disheartened after the last game when he only got in during garbage minutes. Maybe it showed in practice, and when JVG told him not to slack off his frustrations with playing time came out.

Playing in real game is different from practicing. Just think about AI.

Hahah, I guess AI is his role model. Snyder likes to drive into the paint like him and said he could play PG. Only makes sense...

And since you brought that up, a video had to ensue!

Um, no offense, but nobody here knows what happened in practice to set JVG off, so I don't think anybody here can just wildly guess it was Kirk or JVG's fault.

Vernon Maxwell worked his butt off a lot on the court, too... but he was nowhere to be found that last championship run... I wonder why?

Mai Tai, its one of those tropical drinks that they put an umbrella in.

Hopefully this was a measured move by Van Gundy, Snyder has played well for us when hes seen the court and before its all said and done we'll probaly need his defense and hustle to advance in the playoffs.

With any luck JVG and Snyder will put this behind them and get back on track for Sunday's game.

    Who knows?

I will say that JVG seems to play favorites. Ordinarily, I just back coaches in these situations, because they have no incentive to accuse a player falsely. JVG has odd motivations, sometimes.
