I've givenup on rafer. as for bonzi, he should be our Primary " go-to-guy" off the bench.

When JVG replaced Bonzi with Howard in the last seconds of the regulation... I was going insane. Why not replace Rafer Alston?

well, i love the idea of him being the leader of the reserves.

i would be very satisfied if bonzi can ave. 10-12 pt a game come playoff time, because i'm assuming head, battier and Jho r gonna will continue to improve a little bit offensively, and sura being in the rotation after he's back.

now all this talk about bonzi gets me REALLY EXCITED! :D

I think what came into the equation was bonzi's lack of conditioning. as he gets in better shape, he'll be left in in those situations more often then not.plus howard was also having a solid night to.

I knew from day 1 what bonzi is gonna bring. it is now a matter of things just taking it's natural course. bonzi is improving steadily each minute he is out there.

Well I know Howard had a great night. But this was going to be the last shot of the game - it's fine to bring in Howard but JVG should have replaced Alston.

I know Bonzi isn't in that great of shape now, but in a situation like that I would have kept him in the game.

Ahhh this lost is such a hard one to take. First the Baron Davis three - then this disgrace of a 2nd half. Rafer Alston - 7 TO majority of it in the 4th and overtime quarters... I can't believ.... nevermind.

No loss is easy to take, but a blown 21 point lead to a quality like Lakers is hard to take. i think if tracy was out there, we would have weatherd the lakers storm( there run) and pulled it out.

Exactly. To be honest if TMAC played in the last two game (Warriors and Lakers) I don't think we would have lost those.

Bonzi needs to be on the floor....he's not so much outta shape that he cant play in OT. When the game is on the line, you put your best players on the floor. Bonzi, even when outta shape, is the 3rd best player on this team....PERIOD!

JVg's ego does not allow it happen. Or it will prove how worng he has been to put Bonzi on inactive list.

I agree.....I hope JVG doesnt hold a grudge against him. He can/will help this team, esspecially when McGrady gets back

Bonzi played pretty well but you have to understand JVG's reluctance to give him more minutes. Bonzi was playing his what, 2nd game, since coming back? I'd say 23 minutes is plenty of time for a fat, slow and out of shape guy that can't guard anybody right now.

JVG doesn't have clue as to who should be out there. His substitution pattern sucks.
