That's right. Theyre fixing it right now.

When they fix it up though.

I think you mean Hwy. 3. Hwy. 6 is in First Colony and Sugarland, right?

I'd like to add that not only are the roads not straight and not flat, but the area around the roads aren't flat!

I always hated driving down 1488 because I lived in Magnolia, and traffic was always either backed up(especially during the Rennasaince Festival:mad: ), or I was in a hurry to get home.

    I forgot my reccomendation:

I'd reccomen some backroads in the Cy-Fair area, or out near Brookshire. Maybe even Navasota or Plantersville as suggested. If in the Plantersville area though, stop by The Hirsch Family Restaurant. My grandpa's(now deceased) brother(T.C. Hirsch) owns it, and it's great food.

There is bound to be a freeway nearby. If not - dont worry - they will build one close to your home soon enough!

..... there is nothing quite like a Sunday drive on Loop 610 getting cut off and flipped off by Bubba in his Ford F150 with the Calvin whizzing on the Chevy emblem sticker on the back.......

Thanks for the correction. Yeah I meant highway 3.

And God I hope everyone realizes I am being seriously sarcastic about the Pasadena.

Sometimes I like to take a ride on the Dike.

My uncle lives in Plantersville, and whenever I go to visit him we always get take-out for lunch from Hirsch's; it's great food. Definitely a family tradition.

except that Hwy 3 (Old Galveston 3 to us Eastsiders) doesnt run thru Pasadena either.

    Harrisment,
maybe I lived in the area too long...I kinda like how the lights look along the Channel...especially viewed from the top of the Hartman.

just make sure if you drive by Shell, your windows are up and the vent is off..(like I have to tell you) ;)
