Harvard or maybe Oxford; but only because the pedigree and networks generate the most interesting internships or entry level roles for non-STEM majors. If I wanted to major in anything else I'd just check U.S. News to the get the highest ranked program for my major. In retrospect I can't really see college as anything other than a means to an end.

Stanford, USC, Columbia, or NYU. I got into USC but didn't go since it was pretty pricy. Oh what could that have been...

SMU is good enough for me.

this. Although I would also apply to St. Andrews for the golf.

You guys picking universities with student competition way above your heads do realize you can get jacked even with a full ride. Most of you wouldn't last a semester at Rice. :p

btw: I'm serious about Université de la Polynésie Française. One thing I learned about undergrad, much doesn't matter if your plan is to go for an advanced degree in grad school. Just Ace your undergrad, do internships every summer and Ace your grad entrance exams. You'll be fine. So, I'd pick the most beautiful campus in a second.

In the US, that's Pepperdine and Hawaii. In the World, Tahiti to the best of my knowledge.

That said, for Engineering, Architecture and CompSci...best to go to a great undergrad school.

    May I ask why?

    May I ask why?

    May I ask why?

I know a lot of people at Harvard that are down-to-earth people. Stereotype is only half-true.

Stanford gets the nod from me over Harvard...

    Palo Alto > Cambridge
    Stanford sports > Harvard sports
    Cali girls > Mass girls
