it would be about the same. IDK if he could have accomplished much more. But maybe if he were alive toady, he could tell Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson how to be a real activist

It is very probable that MLK would disagree with the Rev Wright on some issues or at least style.

MLK would certainly be speaking out against the Iraqi War.

You would be obsessed with posting against MLK as you would view him as a threat to "victory" in Iraq and an opponent of war with Iran and other neo-con military adventures. You would still be blaming MLK for the opportunity lost to prolong the Vietnam War and have a US "victory".

I agree. Some of what Wright was saying was absolutely correct as well. Sadly a lot of it is spin. There is no doubt Wright said some stupid things, and some that were just plain loony and most everyone disagrees with.

But for MLK saying that the U.S. the world's greatest purveryor of violence, is along the same lines of some of Wright said, so in some areas they aren't so far apart.

I presume you mean "assasination" as "assignation" has a much different meaning.

I don't think there can be any doubt that King's legacy is affected by his assasination as that froze his image in time as a martyred leader. While yes that is cold consider though if he had lived we can only speculate on what else he might've done or how else his image might have changed.
