Sterling would scare the #$#$ out of me but if they get a good coach and new uniforms lol I'd listen if I were Lebron.
wes is best friends with lebron wes is best buds with calipari and all memphis/kentucky now alum..derrick rose,evans,.... notice him behind ashley(probably checking her out) now you see lebron wearing the college gear with his friend cal chicago fans are saying cal/rose/lebron/wes all teaming up this summer rockets need to get on this wes train
I can see Sterling paying for a max player -- he's done that before. But I can't see him adding anything substantial around LeBron. He'd probably want to work with the roster pretty much as is. But that would still be a pretty badass team. As for new unis? Forget it -- they've had the same damn LOGO forever. Sterling is too cheap to even upgrade THAT for marketing purposes.
All good points. It sounds especially good on paper. It's just considering the franchise track record, the Clips performance this year, and a big question mark on how Kobe and Lebron would co-exist in LA...I think Chicago would be a much 'safer' choice overall. No doubt the Clippers have a package he'd have to consider though.
To all of you who think he is going to Chicago (Brian_chapman seems especially confident); you should get on Sportsbook and bet the field. If he goes to Chicago (or any other team but Cleveland, NY, NJ, or Detroit) you're getting paid 6.5 to 1 right now.
to further prove wes rigs lottery. his new 'client' john wall. wes is very good buds with jayz,...big time nets will win lotto. the chance is 25%,1 in 4,....i guarantee nets get wall. or nets get 2 and wall falls to 2..either way nets get wall. book it. wes wanted cavs to get lebron, he wants jayz to get wall. watch in a couple weeks.
How is that proof of your big conspiracy theory? Nets have the best chance to get #1...thus the best chance to get Wall. The funny thing is, the team with the next best chance to get Wall are the Twolve's...a team with TWO top prospects at PG so IF they did have the #1 pick, why spend it on a PG and not a SG like Turner? Also...Jay-Z doesn't own the Nets, he owns a small % of the team. So it is irrelevant if Jay-Z wants Wall because it's not his team. Also this guy does not run the NBA, What does this guy have to do with the Lakers and Spurs winning the most rings the past decade? Sprinkled in with some Detroit and Boston? Any ways, if we are going by crazy theories we can put Lebron on the Celtics some way. Can't beat em' join em' and now Stern gets a good chance that we will see the Lakers and Celtics in the finals for the next decade. But since I don't usually run with conspiracy theories I say Lebron gets his new coach in Cleveland or goes to Chicago because umm...well they have a better team AND in a big market something the Knicks, Nets, Clips can't say because their teams suck.
also Jay-Z is a minute owner of the Nets. i dunno if he is still tryin to move em to Brooklyn but that would b awesome if that happnd. LBJ in Chicago makes so much sense actually. never thought of that b/c of the Cleveland/Chicago rivalries in the past MJ raped them. anyway Lebron wont b wearing 23 anyway, they have a stacked team of good role players and an elite PG in Rose. add Lebron and that is almost an instant championship. i guess if i were the one of the top players in the world then i wouldnt have a problem playing for a team that raped us in the past. like Seattle...oh wait i forgot.
chicago will get lebron or wade no doubt about it, im guessin wade stays in miami i mean who wouldnt even if the team sucks, but they have cap space to give wade help so i see lebron goin to chicago if he doesnt stay in cleavland
If they lose game 6 I'll put my money on NY. They might not have the best of supporting cast right now, but if Lebron goes there other players will follow. I think for him to stay in Cleveland they would have to win it all or at lease get to the finals.
I think the Brooklyn move is basically set in stone now. That Russian billionaire now officially owns the team and a 45% stake in the Barclays Center (the arena where the Nets would play in Brooklyn).
If he wants to win a championship, I say Chicago or Miami. If he wants money: New York. But he could stay in Cleveland too but then they need a better coach, and maybe another star on the team, to win a championship.
He will have lots of pressure from Nike and other big sponsors. They all want him in big city. Everybody thinks that Lebron makes all decisions regarding Lebron. No, he does not. Guy is worth billions. There are many chasing him around to change his decision. Pressure. Pressure. Pressssssure!
