A stand-off between Morey and Adelman over player rotations/playing time? Maybe Adelman is sending a message to Morey? Perhaps were heading to Morey v. Adelman and only one is left standing when the dust settles?

..or maybe Hill has a reason for being in the dog house. Who the hell knows at this point.

Maybe true, although I didn't see him as bad as you did, but with Yao out of the game it was the perfect situation to give him crucial minutes and see if he can handle it. It's also not good for the kid's psyche to get pulled so darn quickly and never see floor time, need to let him grow.

Fire Adelman or don't fire Adelman

I have zero confidence in any one of our players. Everyone is so inconsistent.

This. As much as I like Hill, he was horrible on D in the first half. He looked clueless out there and deserved to be pulled.

Chuck led the team in rebounds in his 25 minutes on the floor. The Rockets were getting killed on the boards throughout the game, with or without Chuck.

But I get it. Find the short guy on the front-line and pin the loss on him when we lose.

His O was pretty bad too, outside of the few jump hooks that fell for him. On one possession, he didn't even appear to understand what the play was.

Scola was being out muscled and he wasn't getting the calls. Scola did look strong, the game just wasn't going his way...

    Durvasa,

You really don't think Jordan Hill would have made a difference in the 4th? He could also be a shot blocking presence at the rim with his height. Do you really see Chuck as a better option than Hill?

Please explain why? I know Chuck plays hard and plays great man to man lateral defense, but we needed height and a presence at the rim tonight. That would have helped a lot. Hill is the only guy on the roster who could fill that bill.

I don't understand why you don't feel Hill would have atleast been a marginally option at worst over Hayes.

Just because Chuck was the wrong answer doesn't mean Hill was the right answer. We need an aggressive, athletic, and dynamic power forward. Hill could be that guy if he stopped playing lazy basketball. If he showed half the effort that Chuck Hayes does he would easily be a top 25 player in the league...

No, because Washington went 11-14 from the field in the 1st half with Hill in the game. Maybe if Hill played better team D and we forced some misses, he would have gotten more boards (and more playing time in the second half).

Durv.....come on...Chuck was not good tonight, and when you are down, and you are playing CHuck and Shane ...you are not going to be making any comebacks.

Hell think of it this way....CHuck, Shane, and Lowry....3 ZEROs on offense.....

And Rick expected to come back and win....ROFLMAO !

Seriously, I love Chuck, but teams have figured out our "small ball" lineup with him at center.

Last year I felt that we got off to a hot start mainly because most teams aren't used to going up against a team who has a glaring hole of height in the middle. As a result, a lot of teams played us like they would any other team and got beat.

Towards the middle of the year, teams adjusted to our lack of height and started to capitalize on layups and hitting the boards to our detriment.

This year we need to STOP GOING with chuck and scola. Period.

Play Hill or get some real size and play him with either chuck or scola, but don't play them together. Please.

Durvasa, who would you start the next game with 7'2" Hibbert at Center??

If you say Chuck Hayes no use in responding to you anymore
