Where to watch the Rockets in Austin??

Lavaca St. bar downtown is the Houston sports bar place. it's principally Texans related, but they do have one big screen that will undoubtedly be on the Rockets tonight and there should be some folk there.

 

Ain't no rockets bar in Austin.. I tend to go to the warehouse a lot.. There's usually about 3 of us...

However it's nice since everyone else is cheering for whoever is playing against us...

I'd be happy to add +4 Rockets fans to a gathering if you guys want to get together somewhere.

 

Awful experience at the Tavern last time I went, which is a shame because they used to be my sports bar of choice. It was crowded, but they refused to change the channel to ESPN for Game 3 well into the second half. They were showing beIN Sport and TNT, which was playing a Russell Crowe movie, on the other tvs.

 

The Local. I go there for all nationally televised Rox games. Great environment, cheap drinks, good fans.

 

3rd base in Round Rock is great. Went there for Game 5 and had a great time. Great prices and good bar food. There is a 3rd base somewhere in the downtown area too.

 

Anyone deciding to meet up to watch the game?

 

I'd just go to Third Base. I'm guessing you are probably downtown. It's right off West 6th near Mopac.

 

Had to run to Austin and won't make the game tonight.
