No, Ninfas on Navigation is the original and the only one worth going to IMHO. The other ones have all gone to hell.

I won't step foot inside any Ninfa's other than the one on Navigation.

They are NOT all the same. The rita's and food are much better at the original.

DITTO. How about the NINFA's office on WestPark? :)

Ummm... I used to LIVE in Fifth Ward. You want to take her through the Barrio in the East End... drive through CANAL, then come back on Navigation, and end up on what used to be Guadalupe Plaza. After a few rounds, take her through WEIRDO Montrose Area... that ought to make her want to come back for more...

not to derail your thread or anything, but i have a related question to mexican food...i went to Lupe's Tortillas a few weeks ago and found out they use lard in making their tortillas (i don't eat pork)...does anyone know if ninfas (on navigation) does the same?

Me too. I recently ate at the one at Kirby and Richmond, against my better judgement. It was disgusting.

also, is this ninfas (on navigation) really really good, or is it just good compared to all the other ninfas around town?...in other words, is it worth driving to from sugar land?

They close the downtown square to traffic and there are lots of craft-fair street vendors along with the brick-n-mortar shops.

Well, since the definition of lard is "pig fat", it would be impossible to have lard from vegetables.
