This is where I got my crawfish last weekend, it was $2.79 a pound... and the lady there said you couldn't reserve 'em, it was first come first serve.

    Sizes were okay.

Being from Louisiana, I'm in an envious rage at all the crawfish boils going on that I'm not partaking in. You just can't get good Cajun food here... :(

I've had pretty bad experience with L and L. I'm not downing their rep but I ordered 15 pounds and almost 1/4th of em were all dead. Couldn't count on their freshness, plus their customer service is pretty bad too. I prefer J and J Seafood Market, they offer crawfish at a little over 2.50 a pound, and their crawfish were of good size.

This weekend they are $2.25 per pound. Don't know about the sizes yet. I'll see them when I get them in a couple hours.

Hmmm. This is my first order this year but over the past few years I've never has this problem. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Another place I've used in the past was Airline Seafood on Richmond in the Montrose area. They are usually a little more expensive.
