For all fans who are shocked by RA's departure, and for all of us who are guessing what watching a rockets game will be like next year should remain calm and realize that this is a blessing. After our championships, we have seen players like Steve F, Yao, and McGrady attempt to be the face of our organization. We have always had issues with our coaches, and players after the 2 super seasons we had - where our team shattered records, won almost every award etc.. We realized when Yao went down this season, again, that any strand of hope of being dominant was gone. We let this season go by, knowing in our hearts, that at the end of the day we need to end the madness. We Wished something miraculous to happen to "splash" the headlines, but instead we said goodbye to our MIP- Brooks, and our locker room stability- Battier. We have a great new era ahead of us, an arena where we will see what D Morey is actually made of, a new coach to lead us into a new light, and new faces to become our next Chuck Wagon. Morey will start from scratch so no more patching up what we have lost. He has the chance to really prove himself here. Our coach can lead us out of mediocrity, and possibly to a place where we have "liftoff" instead of Houston having problems. We will inundated with statistically padded players who are all hungry because they want to make a name for themselves. Lets face it.. we cant have Wade, LeBron, and Bosh all on one team. We can all take a deep breath and shake off the last 4-5 years now. Where there is a beginning there is an end..
