Where should Scola go?

    I strongly believe that scola should stay a rocket and help teach the young guys a thing or two, that is, unless we absolutely cannot afford to keep him. He's a crafty vet and a champion... Just the kind of positive influence on the floor and in the locker room that a young team needs.

    Yep, I feel the same but it seems like everyone is convinced that he has to go. My one fear in regards to a trade that lands us Bynum is that we have no vets that even try to get him under wraps or no one to mentor our younger big men into developing their post game.

    What teams have cap space now?

    Cleveland - Already have Tristan Thomas.
    Sacramento - Quite possible to tutor the young guns.

    Pacers maybe. They are desperate for a scoring backup 4. Too bad you traded Lowry. I think Lowry/Scola would be the perfect package for the Pacers. They could give you ~10 or 12 mil in cap and some assets, like maybe Paul George and Darren Collison. I think that's more valuable than the Raptors '13 lottery pick, which will likely be ~ #10.

    Other than that... The 76ers? Scola + Leuer + Brockman for Iguodala? I think they'll be looking for a real starting 4 and youth, especially young talented bigs, and Leuer would be a nice get for them.
    That's not cap space, but it would be a good piece next to Dwight. He could be the point until you get a real one.

    why rox must trade scola? Just b'cuz Howard need space in paint?

    Scola have complete skills in paint, but why do Rox choose trading him instead of K-M? K-M's salary is higher.

    Two years ago , Rox trade K-M b'cuz he was suitable with Yao.Now,not to trade k-m perhaps for the same reason,K-M is more suitable with Howard than Scola, Rox need to try to please Howard,the paints is Howard's stage, so they want to arrange some players who can shot in mid range,such as d-mo,MM,k-m,lamp etc.

    Martin is an expiring as well. They can always trade him for Turkoglu in the Dwight deal.
