Throw in Chandler Parsons (starter) and Marcus Morris (NBDL) and 0% of the 11-12 roster will be on the team in 12-13.
I wish him to go to Celtics and Rox gets Rondo in return!!! Since the east conference is becoming extremely powerful now with Heats, Knicks and even Nets (DH might go soon), there is no hope for Celtics to win the championship again. Cletics are just about to rebuild. BTW, KG doesn't worth that much!
scola and martin for harden @ the deadline then get bynum in free agency i know its a pipe dream and not gana happen but we can always dream cant we
WOW!!!!!!! Double WOW!!!!!! Seriously? Why in the hell would Minny or Boston do this for an aging Scola? Scola and Martin will not net you Love at this point in their careers you are a couple years too late on this one. If Boston starts to rebuild why would they get rid of their youngest star for a nearly retired veteran? Both of you may have legit aurguments to back up these trades but I certainly don't see it from any angle I look at it, except from the pure fantasy angle.
There aren't a whole lot of options out there. The Thunder won't take on any additional long term salary. The Spurs I don't see trading Stephen Jackson for Scola, when they just could sign Boris Diaw to a cheap deal. Don't have too attractive trade pieces otherwise. Could have done a sign&trade for Humphries, but it sure looks like he's headed elsewhere now. Could have done a sign&trade for Kaman, but I believe the Hornets had to renounce his rights to do the Anderson sign&trade. Could have traded him to the Kings for Francisco Garcia, but the Kings just drafted Thomas Robinson and gave Jason Thompson $6M annually. Could have traded him to the Celtics, but they drafted Sullinger, re-signed Bass and Green. Could have traded him to the Hornets for cap space, but they just used it on Ryan Anderson. Not sure what else is out there. Perhaps the Blazers might be interested if they miss out on Hibbert.
As much as I would hate to see it happen like this, I think the Spurs would be a good fit. If you can get Splitter + future draft picks that would be nice. The Spurs, as always, have some interesting Euro-stashes as well that could be intriguing to pick up in a deal.
There's no one I can think of that we would trade for that's reasonable for Scola, Martin. Draft picks are all we can hope for I think. Might as well stockpile first rounders for moving up in future drafts.
