dono why ppl are so anal about torrents...i dont have a 1:1 ratio..but mainly cuz uploading kills my bandwidth...not really asking for an invite..dont really care..just dont understand the hoop-la

Pretty much. You'll want to catch a torrent as soon as it gets out. Because after a new primetime episode gets released, you'll have about a 5-6 hour window to get the bulk of your seeding done. After that, you'll probably only be uploading crumbs. Just try downloading a few torrents and see how it goes. But you'll definitely want to avoid the big season-packs, until you get enough of a buffer to handle it.
This is a very specific request but I figure someone on here might be able to help me: Does anyone have a link to a torrent of the 2006 Rose Bowl (USC-UT) in High-Def? My dad had to switch out his TWC DVR and he had the game saved on the original DVR and now he's kinda bummed. It's not a big deal because the game's on DVD but if anyone knows of a link to an HD rip of the game, you'd be my hero for about a week. I figure it's a fair trade.
How do I use torrents? I downloaded utorrent and then went to torrentspy and downloaded a file. I then opened it up using utorrent and it started downloading for about 5 minutes but then stopped. Now I'm stuck at over a week remaining time left. What am I doing wrong and is there a way to speed things up??
