None of the statements about Steve from Morey, Les, Adelman, or Steve himself are credible. It's obvious that Steve is nowhere near being able to play, either b/c of injury or general decline. The only things we have heard about him in the last year have been spin, trying to save Steve from excess embarassment. Steve has always been a guy who cares a lot about whether people like him. That's why he was a showman and fun to watch. But now that he can't play anymore, he's too ashamed to tell the fans upfront that he's become a scrub.

So, by next Friday Deke will be a Rocket. I will be paying close attention to see if SF3 gets any minutes in the next four games, if SF3 does not see any minutes his days as a Rocket maybe numbered( I sure hope not; Head should be the one traded).
Why does he come off as a sarcastic prick in that comment? The little we've heard of him is he's either practicing or sick, so how about you give us some analysis of his play, his chances, etc. I know if I was sitting in on Rocket practices, I'd give more than that (maybe I am just in a tired mood).
