I can't think of another explosive 6'3 and under player that can dunk like Francis. There are guys out there that can dunk but not with the best of them like Francis could. Most point guards today only dunk on the open break, but not in traffic like Francis. The only one with a slight resemblance is KJ. I'll miss the Francis of old, truly exciting and fun to watch.
I'd love to have the old SF back... But I think too many people think that SF now is going to look like SF then... Aint gonna happen.
Damn, I sometimes wonder how Yao feels about where Steve is right now. I mean, from everything I've heard, Yao and Steve had a really good friendship especially considering Steve kind of took him under his wing for a couple years.
What does that even mean? What do you want him to do? Not collect it? What a strange statement that could apply to anything......... Damn. I am eating, as others starve in the world. I am working an absolutely pointless job, as others starve in the world. I am taking a huge crap, as others starve in the world. I am in a Houston Rockets Forum, while others starve in the world.
He is probably in full support mode, I bet he wants Steve back more than anyone............They had some real chemistry together.....
QUESTION: Is there any reason to beleive. . .that Steve will be WORSE than he was in the Pheonix game last year? I mean Looking at the clips of that game. . . what did he do that was just 100% Athleticism on a level that is beyond what he will be? He was 'heavy' then - he will not now He was in pain then - reported we will not be however . . .alas. . .some folx are hateriffic Rocket River
I was just saying that its hard to expect him to do much but eat payroll. I feel he has ample opportunity. A sick thought to me of how easy it is to give so much as so much as needed, that it makes my stomach crawl to believe he was playing to hometown sentiment in order to make a few more millions never with the intention of playing again. Just a theory........ Maybe we will know by the Super Bowl?
at least he was suited up to play against the clippers, making some sort of progress even if it is baby steps
Yeah, but suited on didnt tell he may on the court, as Adelman said, he need to perform himself in practice. Im faithful in Francis, really hope he can play soon..
if he has done ,you must be crazy with every second. and i believe he will back in who he really is in strongly~
I talked to Steve yesterday and he told me his old athleticism is back. He just needs to work on his game because his shot off the dribble isn't there and he is not finishing at the basket consistently. He is confident that will come with time. He also said usually he improves during the course of the season (like in previous years) and peaks midway. He said its going to be tough for him to do that only in practice. -SamVen
