I know he probably won't contribute but I haven't seen him on the bench the last two games via broadcasts, and a fellow cf member who was in Nola last night said he wasn't there at all.
I assume you already know that he's dealing with an ankle injury. I was curious about this last night as well. Maybe the team allowed him to travel home for the holidays, knowing that he would not be able to contribute. Maybe Shved's career as a Rocket is over (I seriously doubt it).
Is there a specific rule where injured players must travel with the team unless they have a good excuse? That said, I hope to see Shaved contributing soon.
