El Ray is OK, but they do have great fish tacos and the best, messy fajitas nachos on my side of town. Most excellent hangover food. It just takes forever to get through the drive thru.

    Good fish tacos + drive-thru = trouble

Probably a good thing I don't live in Oak Forest anymore.

It has been one of the longest running TexMex places in town. The Jose Dip is off the chain and you can't really go wrong with any combos there. To each his own though.

Don Chile's at McCarty and I-10. More Mex than TeX Mex. Been eating there for years when I'm in the East side of town.
    Good food.

White people love the fish tacos and white/green sauce at Berryhill.

La Finca is probably my favorite spot in Katy, but there's probably five or so I enjoy tremendously. Vida Loca (just renamed to something else), Los Cucos, Alicias and El Jarrito are the other four.

Just go to Torchy's Tacos...and order the Trailer Park, extra trashy.

    You're welcome.

And the Cuban sandwich, Ceviche and especially the Rotisserie Chicken. I forgot how much I actually go there. Cannot do the Cuban coffee anymore though. That stuff is like 5 Red Bulls all at once, but SOOOO good.

    Definitely not El Rey...

Just looked it up. La Casa de Frida! It was spectacular. I had Mole chicken. Their rice/beans/salsa were also the dank.

They don't have their liquor license (yet?) but they gave us free margaritas from the back.

Holy **** I gotta go back there. Not sure how expensive it was, though.
