Screw the rep points. You made a good point. I dont agree with basso on a lot of issues but criticizing his parenting in this thread is dirty pool.

What does it say about Sishir? That he's an *******? A moron? A Republican?

No, he's not any of those things.

It says that he's so bent on being the 'reasonable moderate' in every situation that he often loses perspective.

Nobody has gone personal on basso because of his politics. That's silly. People have gotten personal with basso because he has gotten personal with them, because he acts like a dick, because he demands answers from others but refuses to provide them himself, because he's a serial liar and a serial plagiarist and because he starts zillions of threads with inflammatory titles and almost never any original content.

None of that has anything to do with his politics.

So why would Sishir say that? To, once again, be in the middle.

I never said you were alone or that you started it but as I've noted it takes two to tango.

As far as losing perspective I would say that going after someone's family or signifigant other over an internet politic debate is losing perspective.

    And that applies to everyone.

Interesting that you would choose this time to bring it up. You've never said **** about basso doing it.

And, again, you were flat wrong that it had anything to do with his politics. I called him an ******* because he is one. I included his wife (for the first time ever) because he's made several comments about my girlfriend.

I've occasionally tried taking the high road, not responding or reporting over the line posts to moderators. They don't care and he keeps doing it. So I call him an ******* for it and I'm the subject of your reprimand? Please.

You're not nearly as fair-minded as you think you are.

Sure. If you'd agree that lying about someone's feelings toward special needs kids, fetuses and soldiers is. This is usually where you go poof. *******.

    BS. Link it or STFU.

And your "wife" would have to be an ******* to be married to you.

Uh, he doesn't respond to basso in kind because ten of you have already done it for him. You run around here being just as blatantly rude an personal, and when someone calls you on it, you get defensive.

BTW guys, 2nd thread in as many days where BJ has gone after Sisher.

Time out, dude. You're still angry at the world even when politics go your way.

Go outside. Find something that makes you happy.

spent a lovely afternoon today in the park, and happened upon a wedding in strawberry fields, two black women tying the knot, with a very butch white woman wearing a collar and a pair of khakis officiating.

my daughter came up to me and said, "it's not a real wedding."

naturally, we asked why, and she said...
"the priest is not wearing robes (vestments)"
later, the wedding party came over and shared a glass of wine.
just another sunday in the park.
