It didn't actually require any thought because those were just the opinions I've held for most of the season, so I knew all I wrote by heart. I wrote it as fast as I could type (85 wpm) and never paused in my typing.

    Thanks for the kind words.

I'm not put off by tl;dr posts. I consider those posts to be non-posts. As in, you didn't read it and you feel it necessary to post to let us all know? How solipsistic and how boring.

Ignore him if you can manage it. His next insightful post will be his first. I know he posts his sincere opinions and I don't wish to discourage anyone from doing that. But with 100K fluff posts, always wrong, always favoring the white players (and what's THAT all about?), and always always always calling for Morey to be on the hot seat, even this year. I would call him a spammer if I didn't know how sincere he was in his reliably wrong beliefs.

This is hysterical! I mean sure morey did mess up by trying to play the league and it backfired but the entire mess was started by dmo being greedy

Rox are 26-9 with an MVP candidate and a Hall of Fame coach leading the way. Dude turned down nice money and now must take way less just to participate. I don't see where the rest of the league are tripping over themselves for DMo. He screwed up bad.

He could make up the lost money if he balls out the rest of the reason and get paid in the Summer. Good luck Dmo! Just checked NO isn't too far back from the 8th seed.

I know you're an intelligent person. My fiancé and I are going to check out the play.

Haha. Well as most people should know you're a talented writer and one our more intelligent posters.

I know you are keeping things close to the vest but anyone who follows your posts should know intel.

    Thanks

I hope he doesn't do well even though I really like DMO. If he does well the insufferable "I told you so" posters will come out in full throat.

Why didn't you sign with the Rockets, DMO? Why!?

Thanks for the kind words. I don't share any intel I might get, even in disguised threads, though. I value the relationship too much to ever even give a hint of the little I hear. Most of the time I spend with Morey we're talking about the play we're creating together. I never had intel on D-Mo. I knew that was the sort of question Morey couldn't answer. Each of my thoughts on the D-Mo thing were based on news reports like everyone else.

It just so happened that the rest of us were right and the one guy that kept claiming to know more was snookered by his friends in the way he suggests Morey snookers me as a friend. I guess he's used to being snookered. I'm not and Morey doesn't tell me things that aren't true. But when he does tell me things, even things from years past, I can't share them here.

I'm so glad your fiancee and you are able to see the play. Go to catastrophictheatre.com and sign up for the email list for all updates on our goings on. Morey's only directed involved in this one project but he's a board member at our theatre so he's involved in a broader fashion with all of the work we make.

Let me know when you're coming to a play so I can make sure to be there to say hi. And thanks again for the kind words. :)

Damn, these tweets make DMo seem ultra desperate.

Why wasn't Dmo desperate to play for the Rockets?

Dmo and bj are compete morons.

Take a physical and get a guaranteed 8mil. Make it past march still being on the team and he gets a guaranteed 16m.

Now he's in NO we're players go to die and he's getting 600k lol I don't feel sorry for him one bit because he tried to bully the bully. The player especially one of DMOs status will never win going against management of any team.

    On another note.

What the hell are the pelicans doing? They now have tjones and dmo. Lol

No wonder they suck so much. I mean they let there 2nd and 3rd best players leave without even trying to retain them and now there in houston playing extreamly well and on a top 4 team in the NBA.

I mean they run MDA offense so what's the issue why didn't it work they have one of the best players in the game? Ohh I know why because we have the best player in the NBA and 100x better franchise.

But no reason they shouldn't have been better. They've had talent on that team over the last few years. I don't get why they can't pull it together.

I got on here to read CF's take on Dmo and end discovering what looks like a cool theater and getting tickets to see The Designated Mourner. Thanks dude!

(As an aside, I knew Morey was interested in Ping Pong and competitive gaming, but didn't know he's into the arts scene).

Seriously? That's your response to someone who took a few minutes to write his thoughts? No one is forcing you to read it, you say you didn't, so how do you know that it is "****?" After reading your post, however, I have to admit that you have a close acquaintance with the subject of human waste.

    If I may:
    1. All this story looks worse for DMo than it is. He took a hit in public perception of his health, but that is absolutely meaningless, because despite of it, he was going to be checked by teams that sign him, bad reputation or not. PR hit did very little to nothing, not like he was going to sign with Nike or anything anyway.
    2. 5 months ago DMo was in a lot worse situation than he is now. He got out from RFA and he fast forwarded his UFA by ~8 months at a cost of missing training camp and 2 months of regular season.
    3. I don't know why I started numbering 1,2,3 since I don't know where I'm heading with this, but my main point is that DMo didn't lose much in all this situation. What did he lose? 37 million? STAHP IT. That 37 million was in Brooklyn and that's like pre taxes that would leave him with like 19 mill or so. And then there's more cuts to it I'm not really sure about. Then you divide it by 4 and it's less than 5 million INTO HIS POCKET every year. IF, and there is a BIG IF, IF he performs and doesnt get cut. DID YOU FORGOT THAT RIDICULOUS 4 OPT OUTS CONTRACT bj made him sign? Getting out off that contract alone is a WIN for DMo. He basically. No. LITERALLY lost nothing. Other than maybe ~4 million this year, but it would have been much less than 4 since season started long ago. And now he gets to sign with whoever he wants. Pelicans for example have played only 2 real big guys in their last 3 games (Jones and Brow). Literally not a single second for Asik and Ajinca and the 19 year old PF they got. I mean if you're DMo you drop everything and you go sign with them (as he did, based on Minny meeting tweet), because their 2nd and only other big in the rotation is Jones, who DMo already pushed from rotation before.

He did lose $3.3 million for this year for not taking QO.

All of these depend on his health, from what he did, it seems to me(only guess) that he did have some health concern, so what he lost is around $7 millions. If he is healthy or will be healthy, then the loss is only $3.3 million and a chance to play with Harden, all of our shooters and an super-charged offense system, which will give him a lot of easy passes, a lot of space to operate and a system which will inflate a player's number by extra 20%.

Everyone has the right to take care of himself, to me this is just purely mis-calculation on DMo's side and also created a bad PR in long term.

It may be the franchise is better but Harden is also severly underrated hes a lot better than AD, plays better and HEALTHIER... harden's resilience and health is soooooo underrated.. i mean look at guys like cp3 Blake AD Melo PG13 WB Durant some of them are often injured, like every damn year, and some suffered injuries that took them a year and even more to heal..when criticize his D people should take this into account
