So basically - first round picks are not very valuable assets, because they don't help much, but DMo is an asset, even though nobody is willing to pay anything for him.

TWolves yet to ask D-Mo for a workout but they have kicked the spare tires some though. Maybe they should kick the spare tires some more and see if it can carry them down the road.

With the stunt he/his agent pulled, he's probably been black balled.

It means : Oh mine, the Twolves suck and they suck really bad, if there is a John Doe out there, they probably should call John for a try out, *note don't go ahead of yourself, it's just a forking tryout ant probably nothing else*, maybe getting some warm bodies to let Tib to torture them couple hours can strike some forking fears to these young kids and it may help.

If you remember that Wolfson was the main sauce of all the Rubio to Houston threads and thread bumps, then it makes sense that this guy is talking around why Minnesota is not showing any interest. This is the way holic would explain Minny's lack of "kicking the tires" too.

Zgoda is much more knowledgeable on T-wolves stuff than Wolfson.

Wolfson is very credible and reliable. No reason to make fun of him. Much better than the Rockets guys imo.

The fact that no other team has signed Dmo to a contract yet shows that the Rockets didn't exactly botch it up, the concerns on DMo's back are real otherwise another team would've swooped in by now instead of just 1 team "kicking the tires".

Also to the poster who kept saying BJ Armstrong was standing up for his client and all the players are taking notice (who forgot who it was), well considering DMO still has no contract now I guess we can all see who ****ed it up. Hint: It Ain't the Rockets.

I kind of feel bad for DMO but on the other hand he brought all this on himself, nobody can blame him for being injured but he really overestimated his value, nobody likes unproven damaged goods. Look at Terrence Jones, he entered this offseason with a way worse cred than DMO, instead of causing drama he sucked it up and signed a 1 year cheap deal with another team and now has managed to prove that he belongs on an NBA team, he's all set to make some money next year as a result. Now DMO is looking at the very real prospect of having to go play in Europe, franchise stars in Europe make like what, 10M USD at most? Considering the state of the Europe economy right now, Dmo can make like half the amount of what the Rox initially offered him.

Best players in Europe earn like 2-3M per year. I doubt he gets 10M in 3 year deal, but he may consider to play one year overseas.

If he signs in Europe he is a fool, just be patient, sign for the rest of this year and play well and he will be paid.

His tweet reads like it's just him giving his personal opinion. Not giving any inside info. I doubt he'd break something by saying the Wolves "maybe should" do something.

I guess no one signs during the holidays?

What is holding this up? I guess you get so desperate for the $8m that he refused in the Summer that you realize your last hope is to wait for some injury to a player on a team not named the Nets who has capspace

Dude royally screwed himself if he's not signed in a week or so

I wonder if the Nets fired someone on their medical staff.

Nobody wants him, that's the problem. They're probably offering him garbage contracts like 2-3M for this year with team option the next and if DMO's gonna accept that why didn't he just take the Rox offer in the first place.

We still don't know what was going on in terms of DMo's medical condition, do we?

That said, the Nets did screw up by signing an easy-to-match contract. As someone said, that contract looked almost like it was drawn up by Morey.
