    See sig.

Horry is right up there with me as well. I need Chuck to do some damage in the playoffs to solidify him in the very top ranks for me. Don't get me wrong though, I love the Chuckwagon on this squad.

    Dikembe Mutombo.

He generated instant energy using defense, and not offense. Everyone upped their game with him on the floor.

Plus, you can sex him! ;)

My favorite player of all time is Otis Thorpe, so he automatically gets #1 role player. I put Chuck in a crowded group right behind him, with Elie, Cassell, Horry, Mobley, and Sura.

Exactly, this list is incomplete without Robert Reid or Lou Lloyd and where is the love for Jim Petersen or Larry "Mr. Mean" Smith.

I take it you've never heard of the triple towers, have you?

The question is where he ranks in the all defensive team. This guy deserves some recognition already. If only he were taller, he would be an all star.

Its not even close. Hayes is doing great compared to other years, but look at our record last year and this year snice he's gotten loads of playing time. And when we were elite with Yao and Mcgrady, he wasn't even playing! Cassell,Eile and Horry all the way.

I love Chuck, but I can't put him ahead of any of the main championship role players.

    Horry
    Elie
    Cassell
    Smith
    Thorpe
    Maxwell

Now you can start thinking about where Chuck places.

IMO, until the Chuckwagon makes an incredibly memorable play (and let's face it, he's probably not going to be making clutch playoff game winners any time soon), it will be hard for him to displace guys like Cassell, Elie, or maybe even Horry.

Where is Chucky Brown in the poll? I don't know if I'd vote for him, but he'd have to be in the top-10. And, really, I think Chuck Hayes is the re-incarnation of Chucky Brown.

I've already repped you but since there have been a few other posters that "remembers" I'll offer my support by posting. Reid gets my vote.

I love chuck, but it shows the age of this board that he's winning this poll. You have to go with a championship era player and my choice is Mario.
