    Who is AB?

If you prefer not to answer in a post, email it to me at andyjmoon@hotmail.com.

Joe my boy, go ahead & post whatever you want to post. Do it here. Do it now. Be a man.

Then the following things will happen:

    1. AB will bury you
    2. 99% of the other posters will pile on
    3. You will have a meltdown
    4. You will be banned.

    Please...PLEASE...begin with the insults.

Like I said, another brother is no threat to me. Who is he supposed to be? Chris Rock? If he is, he needs some new material.

Let me be clear, AB insulted me first. I did nothing to him. He insulted me even after I had apoligized for the remark that drew his ire. If that somehow earns you respect on this message board, then that says more about the board than it does about me.

Prior to AB insulting you, you told him to "blow me" after he asked you if the thread was a 'bit harsh'. I believe that was the first personal attack between you two.

This board is about discussion of issues.......not posters. I may disagree with some of the guys here, but I understand that not everyone agrees with me (thank goodness, what a boring world it would be) and that discussion is good. We need to find out what the other side is saying about an issue. What's with all these rage issues you have at Another Brother? It's just not worth it.

If that is the case, I was replying to the insults I received in general and may have mistaken AB for someone else. That doesn't change my opinion about AB though.

Joe, you're getting flak because you're not really observing the nettiquette of the board. People have been trying to get you acclimated in their own various ways. If you feel that Another Brother's response to you was abusive and unwarranted, a flame war is not the way you want to go -- it may well eventually get you banned. Every post has a "Report to Moderator" link. Use that, appeal your case to a Mod and let him take appropriate action if it is warranted. This is the appropriate, fair and courteous way to handle the situation. Taking a defensive and insulting position only riles everyone up even more. Be the bigger man, handle the conflict like a gentleman and step the hostilities down. That's the best advice I can give you.

I think AB should give Joe tickets the next time he does a show in Milwaukee, then, AB can tear him apart infront of an audience.

This is what Another Brother originally posted:

"Change your name Homes you will never get respect on this board again.

As a dad with a young son it really pisses me off, but I'm not beyond passing this off as a terrible mistake if you show some remorse.

In retrospect, was this thread a bit harsh Joe?"

So I still stand by what I said before. If he thinks that he is the morality police, I have every right to tell him to blow me. What does him having a son have to do with Jason Kidd's son? Nothing! The posting of the topic was a mistake, which I had made clear several times before. Thus, he should have just left it alone instead of trying to act like he is running things.

This thread is exactly why I practice 'selective responses'. You have to *earn* a response before I will engage in dialogue with you. Judging from what I have read, Joe19 has several years of maturation to complete before he can expect anything from me. Granted, I have made some exceptions to this rule (pgabriel, GreenVegan), but in general, it works.

You say he should have left it alone, yet you start an entirely new thread about insulting him.

Where in his response did he insult you (as you claim he did first)? Was it calling you 'Homes'? Was it saying that this thread 'pisses him off'? Was it asking if it was 'a bit harsh'?

I am truly curious as to which of those statements you consider an 'insult'.

The only one I can even begin to consider an insult is calling you 'Homes', but that wouldn't be insulting to me.

Who is Another Brother supposed to be anyway? Also, I am not in Milwaukee. If he is a comedian or a rapper who does shows across the country, he should get some better jokes/insults. I think that I made a mistake posting the TJ Kidd thread, as I have made clear numerous times. If someone would tell me who he is, I'm sure I could find something that he regrets saying.

The overall tone of his post was insulting. I had already said that the thread was a mistake and here he comes, riding in on his high horse to defend lil' TJ. That is some **** that I did not need.

His tone was disgustingly condescending and smug.

Seriously, you need to grow some thicker skin....Homes as a an insult? I don't see an insult, if anything I see Another Brother being reasonable with your moronic ass.

You need to change your profile, Homes, Homie, Home-skillet. . .

Why don't you just click on AB's profile or his homepage and look him up? You can then draw your own conclusions.

No, I am from Milwaukee and still rep it but am living elsewhere.

    Bamaslammer, you are an idiot.

I know that homes is not an insult in general but it was in that case. It was done in a condescending fashion, just like when people tell an ugly old man "hey, whats up, playa". The use of playa is understood by all to be an insult. To summarize, I do not feel that the words he used were insulting, it was the way he used them. If you read that post and don't see condescension and smugness, you have no comprehension of the English language.
