(shuddering) . . . Kingwood . . . but I'm moving soon. Jeff, have you seen any garage apartments for rent in the Heights? I lived in a house at the t-section of Moss and Melwood (right across from the big Catholic Church) for 3 years and I'd like to move back to the area.
its a nice place, but not as nice as that picture makes it look like. the water in the fountain smells funny, dont get in it.
What's wrong with Cullen Oaks? My roommate and I are planning on living there next year. The price is reasonable. She said the rooms are a little small, but how bad can it be once you've lived in a dorm?
Federal Way, Washington. Just 21 miles south of downtown Seattle. I used to live about three blocks from the Space Needle. Before that, I lived near Greenway Plaza. To think, I was so close to the Summit, but didn't give a rat's ass about basketball at the time.
Spring Branch. We moved here from Hawaii. I grew up in H-town, though, and have been a proud lurker on the BBS until recently.
Well I lived in the quad the semester before I moved into Cullen and it is somewhat nicer (own room and stuff). But management treats everyone like it's a dorm. I wouldn't call it an apartment really, it's just a semi apartment/semi dorm. The people that run the place are assholes though, and if you have an issue with them, don't expect much help in return. I plan on moving into a real apartment next fall...
1) Interesting. I live probably less than 1000 yards from where Isabel lives. Small world. 2) I bet I know who sLaNd Baller is. At least, I have an idea. 3) I was born in Columbus OH, lived in Kingwood TX until I was 18, and I've lived in Austin ever since. I doubt I will ever leave.

I was the class of '94. That means we more than likely know eachother. The prospect of that scares me more than a little.
Cool! I was zoned to QVMS, but they just open Lake Olympia MS so I transferred. Two years later, QVMS was shut down and then reopended the next year or so. Graduated from Elkins.
Best place to check is the Leader or the Houston Press. I honestly haven't seen any but I haven't really been looking. They are more expensive now than they were in the past because of the rising costs of homes in the heights but there are still plenty out there.
