I've had wings at Wing Zone. I didn't think they were the greatest, but they weren't bad. I think I had more "bad wings" at Wing Stop than anywhere else. I don't know what it is with Wing Stop - they use midget chickens that have been dehydrated or something. Somethin' just ain't right...

    never thought about doing that....

    1. do you cook them with the sauce on them?? or put sauce on after they get off the grill?

    2. what sauces do you use?

I got a "do it your self" wing kit fryer for Christmas one year. It was used exactly one time.

I buy the frozen wings, put them straight on the grill without letting them thaw, and then cook them over low heat turning them often. I usually cook a whole bag at a time out by the pool so I'm not in a hurry.

When they get close to done I start saucing them. Make sure they are done when cooking from frozen. They do take a while.

I usually split the pile of wings in 2 and do half buffalo style and half honey BBQ.

Sometimes I buy off the shelf sauce sometimes I mix up a batch of sauce from a recipe I have at home. Its a couple sticks of butter, a little milk, cayenne pepper, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, a little tabasco.

For the Honey BBQ for ease I usually mix KC masterpiece original with some honey and add some cinnamon.
