See, I live only about 5 minutes from the Midtown location but I think it's awful. I drive the extra 10 mins just to go to the Village. At midtown my food has come out cold several times and just doesn't taste fresh.
winzone sauces are nasty! They drench their wings in sauce. I don't care how big the pieces are. bleh!
I like Hooters Three mile island flavor. Buffalo Wild WIngs are good in the Asian Zing and Jerked Chicken flavors Wingstop has the best fries Need to hit up the Wing Zone
Seconded. Wings N More has some incredible wings. There's one in Austin now off 35 and Howard. Lot of Aggies there reliving their old B/CS days.
I was in there one Saturday during football season. It just happened that the Aggies/Colorado game and an Astros playoff game were on at the same time. It didn't matter that the Ags were losing 31-3 at halftime and that the supporters club had already left. The aggie manager would not change the tv's to the Astros game. If it wasn't for their wings, I'd have quit going there after that.
I much prefer this place to the BW3 on the other side of the freeway. That place left a bad taste in my mouth (get it?) since last year when we went to watch the Rockets in the playoffs and they had all the TVs on some lame UFC fight. They didn't even know the Rockets were playing! They finally sent us outside and set up the rabbit ears on the crappy outside TV for us. Their balcony is tiny and the waitresses never come out there. Wings and More, on the other hand, is huge and the balcony is awesome. Especially when they have live music. And yes, the actual wings are far superior IMO.
No wings n more that I'm aware of over here in dallas, usually me and the wife just get wings from Wing Stop when we want some. Lemon Pepper is pretty good and those fries are awesome.
no doubt about the fries. i can't believe people actually like wings n more. that's the one that's in the marquee right?
wingzone has the over saucy wings. wingstop puts some sort of seasoning on their fries that makes it good. I prefer my wings to be fairly dry. some sauce but not a lot.
ahhhh..got it. see, i'm just the opposite. wingstop comes off as being really dry to me. i want the wings to be dripping in the sauces they're cooked in...and for the sauces to pool up in the carry out container!
