No, I am saying that biological males must not enter women's safe spaces. As to the rest of my position on this: "Nope, sorry, this isn't what we signed up for. Nobody agreed to this ****. We all went along with this nonsense under the guise of "being kind" and who does it harm to call this man a woman, or use female pronouns? Well, now we see who it hurts: - babies denied the nourishment they need to thrive - gay teens pushed to sterilize themselves because they're gender non conforming - angsty teenagers who have their ABSOLUTELY TYPICAL teenage discomfort pathologized, taught to hate themselves and their bodies - female athletes who are told THEIR hard work and dedication is irrelevant, that fairness for THEM doesn't matter - women and girls who no longer feel safe in their own single-sex spaces - The harm inflicted on society that comes from being gaslit and pushed to deny the reality they see with their own eyes and ears in favor of a religious ideology Turns out, it actually harms ****ing everybody. It harms society. We are culturally and socially impoverishing ourselves when we submit to the harmful ideology of this child abusing cult. And for what? So a few p*rn-addled men can get their fetishes affirmed at the expense of society at large? Nah bro. **** that. Enough is enough with these disgusting men and their pathetic handmaidens." That doesn't mean that I am against adults being free to pretend they are not their biological sex. They should be allowed to do so, but nobody else should be forced to pretend along with them.
This should be in the mass shooting thread. Along with the other half dozen tg shooters over the last year or so
Given that we essentially have multiple mass shootings a day now it’s not surprising that people of all backgrounds would end up being mass shooters. Two elderly Asians were mass shooters a few months ago. Does that mean Asians are more prone to be mass shooters? What this shows is that mental illness and availability to firearms can lead to all sorts of peolle becoming mass shooters.
After COVID, I have come to the conclusion the US has a serious mental health crisis on their hands. That said, it doesn't absolve the gun control crisis side, but I do believe the mental health side is a massively larger problem.
I think you and I mostly agree this problem goes back to first principles. Happy people don't kill each other. Prosperous people are happy people. Ain't no prosperity when people cannot retain, let alone grow, their wealth.
I would agree about the state of mental health in the USA, IMO Covid did a number on so many people`s morale that its manifesting right before our eyes. People are just sad and feel they have nowhere to turn, if you're a man you're not "supposed" to be down, but as we often see that does not turn out well.........I think its time to really get to the bottom of this and figure this out. Ironically Texas is way behind on this front, IMO part of it we still have the old gool ole boy syndrome in Austin and the old white dudes don't believe in "feelings" so there not going to spend money on this.
If you gave the average young person the minimum amount they felt they needed to retire (lets say 10MM), they would not make it to average retirement age, even if they felt they invested it in a safe way (ie: bonds).
9/11 and COVID are two pivotal points for this generation. 9/11 ushered in the mass amounts of resources for the surveillance state. Specifically where I am going with this is the massive amounts of resources and hands-off government approach to the massive tech boom allow the entire planet to spring to where it is today. We have become fixated with our devices and disconnected with our neighbors. This is of course by 'choice' of the individual. COVID mandated everyone stay disconnected (speaking from non-conspiracy). There is an odd battle going on with a significant part of the population insistent on staying disconnected. If someone coughs or sneezes, we go on guard. If someone gets too close to us, we are afraid. We want to stay home instead of going to the work place to socialize. Large crowds make us suspicious. This isn't everyone, but is certainly more common. Ive spent the last couple years reflecting on all of this. There is a lot of promise. The mind-body-spirit holistic approach is becoming much more common. We are starting to say 'no' to being overwork and abused. There is no doubt the obesity epidemic has exposed how important it is to maintain the body with exercise and diet. The debate about general mental health is less about 'if' and more about 'how'. People are starting to come back around to spirit, but its difficult when religion completely contaminated this element. Its still on the quacky side of science, however there is much to experience and learn on this topic.
Facebook boomers did this all the time also with the whole sharing a screenshot of a headline rather than the actual link to the headline. It's a effective way to spread fake news amongst near dementia level old people.
