    Just curious.

Do you think that person changed their gender identity to be ranked number one in high school/college swim meets?

Show me a time you cared about women's rights and child safety that didn't involve Muslims or LGBTQ people.

Who knows??? People can be very irrational. Either way, what's important here is whether or not dudes should be allowed to compete against women. And they shouldn't.

Funny, but I doubt getting a medal or not feeling like a "failed athlete" (Twitter responses are brutal...) is reason why one would want to cut off their junk.

I feel the tortured counter messaging that women are as fully capable (both physically and mentally) as men is to blame for this current mess. It was feminist to believe this and now it's feminist to side with women athletes?

    Hmm

As I’ve noted many times there are a lot of men who claim to speak for women. Including men claiming they are feminist by now deciding what is right for women.

It doesn’t appear to be a monolithic idea among women athletes that they need to be protected from trans athletes. Yet most of the men here seem certain they know what’s best.

This is why I’ve maintained the position to leave it up to the women’s leagues to decide who should be allowed to compete rather than making new laws.

It's also a issue that happens rarely that is spammed online to where people have a false perception of how prevalent the problem is.

I know. People with basic empathy skills know. Psychopaths and idiots don't. Again this is something that requires basic empathy skills. Think about your junk and how important it is to you. Think about how important is for you to make sure you feel sexually attractive to the people you also find sexually attractive. Why would you want to do such drastic changes that will change whom you can ****, who is attracted to you etc just to win a medal?

Like you aren't this stupid and this lacking in basic empathy skills right?

Yes ,you should know if you have a healthy adult brain on whether humans would do something as drastic as change genders to win a college swim meet.

Yes irrational enough to believe that people change genders to win swim meets or create a social media account claiming they are oppressed.

That thought, changing genders to advance in life, for as irrational as it is, could be rationalized in the mind. It could take the mind over. It could protect itself with arguments such as the one you are making. I am not saying that it happened with this dude, cause who the heck knows, but it could happen.

Still, let's say I'm wrong and that it could literally never happen, fine, that doesn't mean that dudes should be allowed to compete with women.

Let Trans folks compete in athletics....sure, but have multiple winners, as necessary.

If a trans person who was born a man, wins a female event they get a ribbon etc, but there is also an "All female" winner as well.....just like they do in marathons just have different categories of winners.

The reason why you type of people(people who lack basic empathy skills) spam this topic isn't because you appreciate the sanctity of women sports. **** I'm pretty sure 90% of the people who spam this anti-trans content are the same people who spam the YouTube comment section of WNBA videos making fun of women's basketball.

The reason why you spam it is to push a narrative that people become trans for political ideology and advancements in careers and social circles. It's to make sure the narrative that transgender is a choice that can be prayed out of someone through Jesus camp sticks.

I don’t think that would work for tournament-style events, where there are brackets.

How does it feel to be so into your head that you are convinced that you have everything and everybody figured out and that you actually KNOW anything? o_O

Just to stay on topic, dudes still shouldn't be allowed to compete with women. At the end of the day, there are women's leagues because we need to separate women from men to maintain competitive balance.

Thing is they are women. If a female athlete (biological) has more testosterone than many male athletes - should they be excluded from female categories for being born with an unfair advantage? Because a lot of female olympic champions have far higher testosterone levels than any trans athlete.

It's curious to me that people are ok with trans athletes until they win, then it's unfair. Are tall women having an unfair advantage over short women? Seems to me it's an arbitrary line. Maybe we should let each sport decide what is fair and what is not. They all have governing bodies that make decisions backed by science, not politics.
