I do not. Ir really doesn't matter what seed the Rockets are (as long as they make playoffs). Right now it is all about playoffs' success

i'm being serious man...i don't wanna argue and i'm not trying to be an ass about it...

before the 22 game win streak i believe we were 33-27...then we reeled off 22 in a row...

after the 22 game win streak we finished up the year 9-8...we only finished 5 games ahead of Denver...

outside of the 22 game win streak we were a mediocre team at best...barely over .500...

the 22 game win streak sealed a playoff spot but we got run, that's the bottom line...

sorry...outside of the 22 game win streak we were 33-27...a barely above .500 team...

the 22 game win streak WAS NOT A FLUKE...we just played unbelievable basketball...we did the unthinkable for a whole month...but the streak was going to come to and end, and when it did, we were the same ol Rockets...

Outside of the Rockets 55 wins, they were 0 and 27.

    It's a really horrible team.

what are you talking about? you wanna said that the streak was 'a lucky event'

we had our streak and it only dod show how good we were. and you can't take that away from Houston. It was a part of the season and it really doesn't mater what our record had been before the streak.

thinking your way lakers sucked too. they were only 7 games ahead of denver...

The team before and after the streak was not at full strength. We were still getting used to a new system to start the season, and trying to incorporate new players. Post streak, Landry was not himself, T-Mac was tired, and Yao was out.

It's hard for me to see us not winning at least 50 games next year, even if we roll out the same team.

    Landry is done in basketball...

Tracy and Yao can't be depended upon to finish a season...we need another all-star/prolific scorer...

My guess is Landry will still be in the league long after you've gotten kicked off this board ;)

If the Rockets stay healthy they are a championship contender. The key is health, with Yao becoming a 20-10 guy with a great all around game a healthy T-Mac/Yao combo could be lethal.

Man, after that surgery he was still exploxive as hell. And I don't think he will need another one. You can't say he is done, injuries may slow you down, but come one, he will be explosive again next season.

Post injury he averaged 8-5 hmm those seem very similar to his overall season averages. Oh wait they are his season averages. I really have no patience for always negative 'fans' (and I use that lightly because if you are always negative you aren't really a fan) who just throw negative things out without researching first. Landry averaged slightly less post injury than pre injury. Tkae into account he probably wasn't fully healthy and was a rookie and they tend to wear down at the end of the season and there is absolutely no backup to your claim he is done.

We won 55 games last year with Yao missing significant time and TMac missing some games. They are likely to be injured once again but since Scola and Landry weren't in the rotation till midseason (the exact same time we took off is the time they started to get playing time) 50+ wins is a lock unless Yao and TMac miss practically the whole season or everyone else gets injured.

Let me give you some advice. Research all areas before posting. Yes we had a ridiculous 22 game win streak but two of our best players also didn't play until midseason.

My research show Yao is becoming Bill Walton.

    Tmac is becoming Grant hill.

    Landry will become Cato?

Negative is a great thing when were talking about these guys XRays otherwise.... the second round called and sounded positive we wouldn't make it without a proven scorer.

We need a 3rd proven scorer to take the weight off McYao, to let them get some pine time, and none of that, 'We'll see how long Rick Adelman can afford to leave __________ [Tmac, or/and Yao] on the bench... Where's the scoring going to come from with this group? Not one of them can create their own shot'...

I think that Morey is probably aware of the situation by now, and he's working on it. Very few 'in Morey we trust' lines on the board the last few days, however.

Baring no injuries... we could have the best record in the west if we sharpened up on our free throw shooting only.

I don't predict a whole lot of change. I think Denver is the only team from last year that won't return to the playoffs. Golden State is going to drop into the cellar with Baron leaving. Clippers are still not good enough to make the post-season. Sacramento has no big men. The rest of the Western Conference is too young.
