It sounds logical when the best center in the game was wearing a tie all 6 games.

I agree except Mavs wont be 5th seed they will be lucky to make the 6th seed with Clippers coming along and even Warriors if you subtract Baron and add Arenas.

Jazz is better then Mavs so is the Suns.

The Clippers will be better next season assuming they re-sign Brand and add BD. Brand missed basically all of last season.

At the same time, I don't see them being a real factor. At best, they squeak into the playoffs.

I agree, lets not put Clippers up there yet. They already lost Maggette, if they lose Brand also, then they become Golden State without Don Nelson. If Brand goes to GS and they get another piece then all of a sudden, its golden state that becomes improves...Too early to call.

Don't sleep on the Mavs. With a new coach and Diop coming back this team has alot of talent.

    Kidd
    Terrry
    J HO
    Dirk
    Damp

    Diop
    Stack

That is still a very good team. Best case senario, they win the #1 seed. They COULD be that good.

    1. Spurs (getting Magette, four stars on this team)
    2. Lakers (getting Byum back, four stars on this team)
    3. Blazers (getting Oden back, this team will be Last Year's New Orleans)
    4. Hornets (one reason CP3)
    5. Suns (Nash and Amare will lead the team to playoffs)
    6. Jazz (one reason Jerry Sloan)
    7. Mavs (four stars J-kidd, J-Terry, J-Howard, and Dirk)
    8. Clippers (getting Baron Davis, inside out with Elton Brand)
    9. Rockets (Tmac, Yao, getting old, and don't have enough bench power)
    10. Nuggets (Melo is not consistent)

I'm telling yall, if the Morely does not want to get a couple of nice players, this Rockets team will be out of playoffs

Looking back at the NBA 10 years ago, is it just me or has the level of talent gone up by about 400%. I think some teams today that have been 1st round exits, would be championship contenders 10 years ago. ( after Jordan left). When the Rockets were great, there was only a few teams in the West that were good. The Rockets, Sonics, Jazz, and Spurs were the only teams that were quality. That number has gone from four to about ten. Great for the NBA. Thoughts?

Maybe in the east, but look at the 98 to 02 rosters for the Lakers, Trailblazers, Spurs, Kings, and Mavs.

That looks like a really good line up......However, I think we have better stars and better coaching. Thier two best players are all start caliber at there best. Our two best players are MVP caliber at thier best.
