What's with this "rookie" thing? LOL dude, you ain't exactly a senior member here, either. Quite a few posts of yours lately have been nothing but deliberately creating rifts between fans/posters on this board.

Get a grip and grow up.

Yao never has a jumper and he has the softest layup when he is tired or REFs are loose. yao's shooting and rebounding are worse in 4th Q. He should shoot less than 15 times a game or he will cost Rox dearly.

Where were you when Yao schooled Shaq and Curry? Yao played two bad games, so what? Typical hater.

I think in past years, he always has a mini slump after playing Shaq. It takes a lot out of him. Plus he's taking a lot of bad shots.

The guy is still shooting 53% for the season. He has a mini-slump in the last two games and therefore you think he needs to take less than 15 times a game. The intelligence level of some of you people has never failed to amaze me.

WTF did you get McGrady from that post?

Oh, sorry, didn't see your nick..

Back on topic, Yao's aggressiveness is what concerns me after the last two games. He just seems timid and is too passive a lot of time when the team desperately needs his interior scoring to steady the ship somewhat.

But no worries on my end, he will bounce back and dominate again...I think his biggest problem is that it seems to me like he tends to 'take it easy' out there sometimes when McGrady's offense is rolling. That's problematic, I think he needs to understand that he's the team's number 1 offensive option, even if McGrady is on offensively.

It looks to me like he's 'pacing' himself the past couple of games. But it could be something else that's physically/mentally weighing on him.

I think Yao ming is overhyped on this board! I tend to agree with Barkley! Yao is a very very good player now but he is not dominant! If you watched closely games against Knicks and Heat, he scored most of his points on Turnaround Jumpers!
When you relied on jumpers you tend to slump once in awhile. Then great competitors like Jordan, kobe etc will have the heart to try to shoot more in this situation to get out of slump. Yao, obvious is mentally weak, tends to be hesitate in his shots or rushed his shots once he is slump causing him to miss some more!
I think it is all about mental than anything!

Please. I know there were a lot fans here blamed Tmac. Do you honestly think they are all YOF? I am a chinese fan. Call me YOF if you want. But I for one still believe Tmac is the best player in this team. It is unfair to call out all YOF. Still, even if YOF did slaughter tracy, do you think you should blame on Yao for that?

I really expected this to happen.. it seems like every time Yao gets really really good.. really dominant.. everybody starts talking about him.. even Barkely "the Hater" jumped on the bandwagon...he starts playing weird and out of rythm.. it's a lot of pressure on the young guy, and this game is all about handling pressure...

I hope his shot gets back soon, and a good point has been earlier, Chuck Hayes' absence might have a very significant effect on his shot..

Relax. This is a Yao thing. Next batch of games, prepared to see he explodes again like 70% and 30pts/night. He has been up and down his entire career, in CNT too.
He does need to be consistent.
