not quite yet. any new news? I may try Traders Village this weekend or any chapter of some kennel club.
Yorkies are a very popular breed so I doubt you'll find a purebred at an adoption location because usually as soon as they show up they are taken. Due to their popularity, they are quite expensive to buy as you have already found out. I have seen them for no less than $400 in my area so imagine in Houston it is even more expensive.
Try calling a few pet shops, they may know of some breeders. I found an a full-blood miniature Pug for 600 through a pet shop.
Why get a Yorkie? - just get a small mutt. Mutts are smarter, cheaper and less prone to diseases caused by inbreeding. And you're putting a stop to these puppy farms and amateur breeders who are the main reasons most animal shelters are over-capacity.
ABOUT DANG TIME. awwwwww he/she is too cute. where did you get him. and yeah someone looks like they need a little brushing. not alot but just enough to make sure he/she doesnt get matted. but still a cutie
it's a dude. I got him from some place in Dickinson. He looks sad. He doesn't walk. How the hell does he walk? His brothers are running all over the damn place, and we picked the damn emo one.
How old is he? Maybe he's being emo b/c he's old enough to have gotten attached to his breeder family. That's a really cute Yorkie, btw.
