Where can I find a job in Hong Kong or mainland China?

There was a big crackdown before the olympics. It's eased off a little now but it's still not quite as lax as it was say three years ago.

I live in Shanghai. To get a decent salary, if possible get hired in the US by a company with an Office in Hong Kong or the Mainland and then transfer. It is not easy getting a good job here in Shanghai, just like everywhere else the Financial Crisis has hit hard. The mainland especially Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing have become pretty expensive places to live, rivaling Hong Kong, Tokyo, etc.

I go to Guangzhou and HK almost three times a year, personally I like HK better, but cost of living is too high. So I would choose Guangzhou if I have a chance.
