    I'm not Charvo...but...

Ward -- although he hasn't taken as many shots as Mobley -- has averaged between .368 - .428 from the 3-point line in the last 3 years.

He's not that bad from outside...

Hey, Stack24....I saw that .408 too. But that looks like a season split or something. Not sure how they mesured that one. Ward has another 3PT% above at .368.

Not sure what's going on there.

    Anyone?

he shot .428 in New York then when he went to san Antonio he shot .368 so the .408 is actually i think over the whole year...if you look on ESPN's site.

Doh! I guess it would've helped if I had looked at the "03-04 NYK" right above the "03-04 SA."

    :(

By the way, the .408 is on the nba site too. It's the third "03-04" line! :D

I feel exactly the same way!! Although I'm not sure that I like TMAC over Yao, it's pretty close. TMAC was my favorite player that wasn't on the Rockets. And I loved Francis during his first couple of years in the league, but after realizing he'd never mature into the player we needed, I became disgusted with his stupid ass decisions. I've never seen a player travel more and get away with it than Francis. It's like the guy can't count to three. It really sucks that we had to get rid of Mobley, but for us to be able to unload Francis and at the same time get McGrady is like a dream come true. And who knows, maybe Hill will be the perfect partner for Francis. I couldn't think of a better guy to share some of the ballhandling and prevent Francis from producing as many blunders.

If he was that good.I can't see why the knicks would even want to let him go.I would like him a litttle better if he was able to penetrate just alittle and thats my problem with him ,most people say he wan't have too, but I think a player like mobley could keep a defense off balance a little more then a player like ward.ward has to be just standing there ,to get a good look at the basket .I went to the fonde and watched cuttino play this summer and he is a much better shooter then I thought he was .he could create his own three point shoot and he rarely missed.

iam just gonna wait and see what will happen, maybe ward will knock them down.

he has proven to this point that he can hit the three and he is a vetran that can lead the team on the fast break and get the pass into where it has to be and play much better defense than francis.

When we do want to penetrate a bit mroe we can bring in Lue who is much quicker and can create problems for the other team as far as keeping up with him...we have a nice mix of players but your right..until we see it at work in the regular season tonight, we won't really know.
