I miss Spring Break. Partying hard in South Padre, going across the border for all you can drink for $7, doing the tequila spin chair, getting electrically shocked by those guys on the road, and of course the women. Hell, I'm just going to have to kick it old school and go.
Aye. We'll be sharing that Corona seex-pahk, eh, laddy? I remember the "What are you doing for St. Patrick's Day" thread. I am there, reviving yer old MEXICAN/IRISH alliance. M I still in?
I'm going to get someone to buy me some beer, get in my car, crank up some Chili Peppers and go to Jamaica Beach in Galveston to cruise up and down the beach. Oh wait, I thought I was 17 and it was 1987 for a bit... I'm old now and I'm not doing anything.
Jimmy crack corn and I don't care Jimmy crack corn and I don't care We built this city on rock and rooooooll Something something day...
I bet I'll be watching TV or at work.. I'd hate to be known as "THAT GUY" to all the younger people..
Here's a suggestion: Drive down to New Orleans and spend a few days helping in the clean-up........then go down to Bourbon street and help revive the economy. You get an ego boost, a little resume' fodder and blasted, what could be better? I'm not trying to guilt anybody because I could certainly go anytime and I ain't going. But maybe you just haven't thought about it and think it's a good idea.
Ah spring break..... Anyone else think it's unfair that all through school, 16 years for me with college, they give you these massive amounts of time off and then take away once you join the workforce? I mean what kind of messed up prank is that?
It's like a tramautic second birth. You stumble out of the academic womb and someone clubs you over the head with responsibility.
