    Shocked! Shocked I tell you!

No, you don't get away with a "gee, nobody knows" alibi. The CBO told you. Other non-partisan analyses told you. And we're holding your feet to the fire. you may have "won" a legislative success for trump and the republicans, but 2018 is just around the corner...

Congrats the the GOP. A reduction in the onerous, un-competitive Corporate Tax rate (think of the smaller businesses and not
just the mega shops that have a lower effective rate already),

DOUBLING the standard deduction for working families will be huge for people come tax time.

Glad they also removed subsidies that encourage excess and support specific groups like:
Cap on Property Tax Deduction and SALT deductions.
    Tax on University Endowment Income

Would've preferred some taxes on Carried Interest as making money on other peoples investment capital is
income no matter how you slice it. But i figured this wouldn't change.

I won't be satisfied with just voting out all of these fools. So what? They'll end up landing softly on K street or some other cushy job. Same would happen if it were the Dems doing this. The two party system is just a cycle of horse **** with one side stinking worse than the other depending on where you sit on the political spectrum. Baaaaaaaah Humbug!

I just have to say this goes sooooo well with your avatar, LOL. Your avatar is basically what all of us non-1% people are going to look like in a few years. LOL.

that is nothing relative to the loss of hundred of million of tax revenue that the top 1% no longer have to paid

elimination of alternative minimum tax (AMT),
according to his partial tax return for 2005, Trump had to paid millions in AMT

    the best eg include

    • carried interest
    • elimination of the alternative minimum tax
    • continue to allow for the top 1% to hide their income using pass-thrus
because the GOP lawmakers are beholden to powerful/influential lobbysts who want the carried interest tax loophole

Perhaps the OP isn't among the rich. From the very article you linked:

Seems like the middle class get stuck with the burden of a huge increase in deficit to pay for the rich people's tax cut. Talk about finding a lump of coal in your stocking!

LOL. The fact that you mention this without any mention of personal exemptions tells me you don't know much about how taxes work or are just a partisan hack repeating talking points.

I gotta admit, seeing our friends on the left freak out this much about having to pay less in taxes (assuming they were paying any to begin with) is really funny.

Smart PR move. They had the profits to do this last Christmas too ... but good for their employees.

Let’s see how many others follow suit.

ACA repeal won’t make up the taxes cuts for many.
