Let's play choose the star. From the late lottery on down, which one of these guys will reach star status?

    My pick is Royce White.

    Go with Tony Wroten

For me it is between Damian Lillard, Quincy Miller, Tony Wroten, and Royce White.

    I'll go with Tony Wroten.

I didn't know Quincy was even coming out this year. Anyway, It's between Lilliard, Wroten, and Royce. I like Wroten a lot especially in the low teen/twenties. Lilliard will be solid, but not sure if he will be a star. Royce is a coin-flip depending on what team drafts him. I like him better than Morris.

I vote goes for Wroten though.

    Q.Miller in 2012 draft now

I see we see eye to eye. ;)

Quincy Miller announced this week he was going in the draft. I think he should have waited a year to get lottery money but whatever. Makes 2012 draft that much better.

For me, at first, it was a toss up between Lillard, Taylor, Wroten and White. In the end Whites potential won over.

I've only seen highlights but Wroten looks extremely unimpressive to me.

What he is he? What does he do great?

    Just don't see it.

    Wroten needs a jumper

I can see that. Royce White could be the steal of the draft. He is so unique in his skillset. I like Tony Wroten though because he is a big PG/SG in the mold of Tyreke Evans and Dwayne Wade. He has crazy handles and vision but needs a jumpshot. I think he will at least get an average jumper and be damn near unguardable one on one.

    Quincy Miller, enough said....

If he gets completely healthy, he's a top 5 talent in this draft!

    What's wrong with Wroten

What don't you like about him? The NBA is more suited for his game like it is for Austin Rivers.

    And who was your selection?

    Austin Rivers
Royce White (possibly, but he's little overhyped on this board)
    Arnett Moultrie
    Quincy Miller

Wroten isn't anywhere near as athletic as Wade. He mostly plays below the rim from what I've seen.
Tyreke Evans may be a better comparison, but unlike Wroten, Evans got freakish long arms. That's huge if you're a below the rim player.

People say Wroten has really good vision. Maybe so, yet he only averaged 3.7 assists and turned it over 3.8 times a game.
He makes some flashy passes, but doesn't seem to make the sound passes/passes within the offense. Reminds me of T-Will.

So... he's got a knack to score in transition. He's young and he's got good handles. What else?

Again, I very well might be wrong as I'm basing my argument on highlights and raw stats, but I just don't see.

As for who I like, well, again, I haven't seen a single game of most of those guys, so I don't have a great feel about any of them.
That said I like White, Lillard and Marshall. Also like Jeff Taylor, but I'm pretty certain he won't be a star.

    Wroten minimalize faults

Wroten isn't as athletic as Wade(not many are) but they both attack the basket. If I recall Wade didn't really have a good jumper in the beginning of his NBA career and now it is somewhat acceptable. Wroten is most like Tyreke Evans but Wroten is more PG while Evans is more SG. Wroten is too turnover prone and needs to expand his range on his jumper but every player has his faults. I think he can minimalize his.

Out of those choices, Lillard. He's the most statistically dominant, has the best makeup, and plays on both ends.

Rivers ceiling is Kevin Martin. Lillard's is Eric Gordon. Which one would you rather have?

i like rivers, wroten, and melo. I think rivers maybe suffering from anti-duke goggles which underrate him.

Rivers is the most athletic when you watch him on the floor. Extreme confidence. I would like him to develop some more ball handling and then he'd be impossible to stop

It would do the Rockets well to try to at least get one more pick. There are just too many good players on this list to choose just one.
