Hinch should have put Giles in game 7 in the ninth...so Giles could redeem himself. Final score: 5-4 or 5-6
My only question. Why did Jose Altuve try to shy away from Judge Ed Emmett? It was a horrible look, and I am very disappointed in him. I'm sure we will hear it was because he was tired, and to that I say LOL
Seems like they should have broken into Queen and "We are the Champions" after Altuve closed it. Instead, they go into Led Zeppelin. Huh?
No clue . It was packed as hell , and I was ground level so I could only see the people around me . But they had to extend the parade becuase of how many people showed up . It was rocking for sure
People complaining about Metro not being able to handle today's crowds. "Add more trains!" wtf? it's not that simple
President Trump tweeted and said it "was the most hugest crowd of crowds in the history of celebratory parades I've ever seen". Thank you, Mr. President!
Couldn't we get some Houston celebs involved in this thing? What...they only turn out in LA? I would like to personally thank Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top for coming out. As for the rest of Houston celebrities, I forgive you for not quite understanding the gravity of the situation (bah...f**k off!).
The people complaining aren't even there probably . The rail was fine going in . Going out , only an idiot would expect prompt service. Hell , it felt like half of Houston was there . A lot of people just started walking back , we continued the parade down main . A lot of people are still there .
Initial prediction was 500,000 and then they had to expand the parade route an hour before because so many people were already showing up. Update: Mayor just said biggest parade in city history
A really cutting edge idea for a more modern celebration...have the players do a zip-line fly-by with start/stop points over the crowds and with microphones to talk to sections of the crowd. lol
