Hehe, I knew I could count on a great response here and because I liked it so much the first time I saw it, I am stealing this from VesceySux:

They're too busy touring on their umpteenth remake of "The Bends." Hence the "Diet."

    But Creed is still worse.

Creed had so many radio "hits" but I never had the tiniest desire to buy their cd's. Just sound like a Pearl Jam ripoff to me.

Well we have been through this before but the point that I am making or have tried to make is that Radiohead has RADICALLY changed their sound from "The Bends" to "Hail to the Thief". I like Coldplay but my biggest gripe against them is that they haven't really evolved their sound at all. So with my simple mind, I just don't see how you can call Band A "Diet Band B" or "Band B lite" when Band B has gone through several phases in their sound. If anything, call Coldplay "Diet Radiohead - Bends Era" instead. However, I think it is pretty dumb to put cute labels on something that is subjective EXCEPT when it deals with Creed. Then the labels go from being cute to just the truth which is they suck.:D

Man, I like both Creed and the Eagles. Little did I know I suffer from douchbaggitis. I wonder if I can pick up something at the pharmacy to get rid of the condition.

Never heard Coldplay, but these descriptions make it tough to put them ahead of Creed.

Oh my god... just listen to Coldplay and then you will know that they are better than Creed. Chris Martin doesnt sound like he's taking a dump when he sings.

If so many of you think a band(s) like Coldplay sucks, then I can't begin to imagine what you think of acts like Lindsey Lohan, Hilary Duff, Ashlee and Jessican Simpson, etc, etc, etc.

I used to like Radiohead. Back when they actually played guitars and drums instead of machines like they do now. Now they're just a techno band. Blech. There is such a thing as too much experimentation.

    And I like the Eagles.

They should have been locked up for even thinking of picking up a microphone (especially Ashlee)

You know, I typically give props to people who shouldn't make it in singing, regardless of talent. Pink, and Jessica come to my immediate mind.

But there is just something about Ashlee Simpson that bothers me. She's not talented in the least way, and everything has been handed to her. I want her to go away in the worst possible way.

And the worst thing is that I went on stage for the first time in a year. Apparently, constant drinking and smoking can have an efffect on your voice! Who knew?

I personally consider them to be a bunch of no talent assclowns who exemplify the worst in music.

but, I have listened to coldplay before and I dont get all the hype they get around here.
Possibly it is cause Im not into that type of music..my tastes are pretty well known around here so I wont go into them...but guys...really...just becasue someone doesnt "get" a group you find positively sublime doesnt mean they have zero taste.

    remember?

    Different strokes for different folks.

btw...I dont think much of creed....but I would rather hear a creed song than a coldplay or radiohead song.....but that is cause I prefer distorted guitar based songs...even if the lead singer is a idiotic assbiter.

personally...Id MUCH rather hear something like Maiden, A7X, Megadeth, etc...but thats just me.

I also dont understand all the hatred the EAgles get...if you aint into it thats fine...but they aint near as bad as most of yall act like they are.

I find a few of their songs very good...and some very bad...but averaged out....they are decent.
