thumbs...I hope you are not overweight and have perfect hygiene becasue anything else I consider self mutilation and a symbol of low self esteem.
I think in one of the interviews with a Chinese reporters Yao stated that he doesn't plan to get any tats now or anytime later. I think he want to be a good role model for the kid.
Yao should go bald. Like Yul Brenner in the King and I. Or grow a pigtail like Jackie Chan in Shanghai Noon. That would be "oriental chic".
Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion. That's what makes this a free country. BTW, I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds, swim a mile every day and my non-tattooed girlfriend has no objections to being close.
Well... I have three tatoos on my body... Peace onmy left arm inchinese characters love onmy right arm in chinese characters and happiness on my lower back in chinese characters. I don't believe that I'm classless just because I have a few tatoos... I've seen classless individuals strut themselves without tatoos as well... so if yao wants a tatoo I don't think people will look at him and immediately call him a thug.
As I said, everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion. That's what makes this a free country. I certainly profess no superiority or inferiority. Those are just my views. You are certainly entitled to yours.
I don't recall see MJ with any tattoos. I certainly don't expect to see Yao Ming with any tattoos. However, I'm not like him any less just because he has tattoos. This is a free country and I agree with that. And the Chinese characters that come close to imply "And One" is the basketball term <img src="http://portfolio.iu.edu/xiachen/jiafa.gif">(pronounced as "JAH-FAH"), which literally means "With Additional Penalty".
Ming, please don't get any; they will only make you look cheap and sleazy! You are too classy for that.
MJ has a brand on his chest. Tim Duncan has tats on his back. these are two guys considered to be representative of "the class" of the national basketball association, yet they have tats and brands. tats have absolutely nothing to do with class or self-esteem or any of that other crap. it's a personal decision of expression, nothing more, nothing less.
