I heard its taking longer than they expected for him to heal. But i think he is just giving up. He doesnt have the heart of a champion he use 2. He lost alot of weight you would think he would back up his words when he said 3-4 weeks. But dont give up on him just yet it is frustrating but he did say Late November early December he would be fully healthy in one article. I just hope he keeps his word this time

Theres your answer on Francis guys :( ...As for Wafer don't really expect to see him unless we are blowing out a team or a team is blowing us out. Its just that simple.

Being for Wafer or Francis on the court is being for injuries... indirectly.

When we jockey for roster spots during the preseason it's interesting to us but it's only important if we actually need them. Thats like competing for "who will live the longest" but caring about "who has the most life insurance." Last season would we really have benefited from Casey Jacobson or Mike Harris (ok bad example)?

I want to see both but there's better players to be seen at this point in time. I wouldn't want us to have to play them. Francis could come back and be a boost as I'm not ready to say he's done.

Having said that the basketball junky in me wishes we were in a position to see just how good our bench really is. Of course the rest of me hates the basketball junky in me for even having thought that. The skeptic in me hates the junky for being a jinx. Everything else is much too confusing.

Clearly people on a message board know more than our head coach who sees practice every day. Wafer ? Are you serious? The guy is a scrub

    A lottery team?

    Francis. Is. Done.

And Wafer, the guy has been with 4 teams in 3 years. What are you guys seeing that all those other teams missed? His career scoring average of 1.4 ppg?

Francis seemed to be a very much a part of this team at least in terms of being at games, cheering and showing support for his teammates. There's no reason to rush the guy back until he's fully ready. If this was a guy that knew he was "done" deep down inside I doubt he would be showing this much enthusiasm albeit in street clothes.

I remember something about francis saying he will not be available until after the all-star break. I wouldn't take that to the bank though. If he got himself healthy then smart defensive teams such as the celtics would at least have to guard him. Rafer was being left wide open. We have been saying it for seasons...rafer is a weakness of this team..for some reason he continues to shoot. ..sorry didn't mean to turn this into a rafer rant.

if wafer is in the game, it means either we really, really need a 3 pointer, or a couple of guys ahead of him on the depth chart are injured. probably both would need to be true if he's on the court for any meaningful minutes.

francis . . . well, you guys already know how i feel about francis. we're talking about francis. francis, man. not the team i love and cheer for and spend money on, we're talking about francis.

Maybe he doesn't know. That doesn't mean it isn't so.

When did Francis say he would be back in 3-4 weeks? All I've heard is that he will not rush his return, like he did last year. The reason it is taking so long for his injury to heel is most likley because he rushed it last season. So, please no more 'When will he return' threads untill after the All-Star Break.

We will probably not see either of them. If we see Wafer is because we are in deep doodoo and heavily injured OR we are trashing teams and he gets lots of trash play time.

Steve would be good to see if he can still play. If he can't then it's time to trade his expiring contract for PG help, becaus Rafer is in need of serious help.

I think Wafer can give us more of the bench then Barry and even I see him as a better player than Rafer. Barry is a 3pt shooter that hasn't been hitting his 3s much like Rafer but Barry contributes to the team more cause he's is more active when he is out there. I still would rather see Wafer play over both of them cause he can hit the open 3 and he can also drive to the rim and finish it strong.

    Vofer

    Coach L.A

    JVD

    who are these people?

with that out of the way, i would really like to see francis make a comeback and eventually take the starting spot away from rafer, with brooks as the first pg off the bench.

we played head? and we know what he provides...so why can't we set aside 4 minutes to see what wafer can do at the end of a quarter, it's early in the season, the games was kill us, i think we should try him, spread the d with a shooter
