I'm glad he's not dunking. Well not glad really but I don't want to see him risking his health just to make the highlight reel.
The hangtime on that botched alley by Rafer was awesome. Just as good as a dunk. He switched hands in midair with an underthrown ball
44 points. 44 points, and you want a dunk? Frankly, I'd rather he took fade-away three pointers from mid-court.
wow man dont get so angry.......no matter what your opinion someone is going to disagree.....but i do have to say, he has scored 30 points or more for 4 strait games what more do you want? mac is back and lets hope for good...i dont think you can score 44 points if you are not at least close to 100% back.
mean?? Your the ***ed up piece of **** that posted this: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=2665934#post2665934
lol, didnt you just cuss someone and call them a b****? haha... I doubt it on a team like the Rockets... very level-headed, coach JVG setting the example... I sometimes wonder why the players never get real excited on the court even after a mad play, but if you think about it it's just a sign of a cool, composed, focused ball club... rather than running on emotion and excitement, which can be erratic. Prime example - Luther Head - I never seen him even crack a smile, I doubt even a 360 tomahawk from the free throw line over Shaq from TMac would excite him much at all...
I think scoring 44 points and winning against a (right now) top 3 team in the league, will give you a lot of confidence for the next game. checking the standings right now the Utah could lead the Eastern Conference, and you just score 44 points against that team, thats maybe give you a lot of confidence, I dont think you have experienced that.
Akeem used to dunk all the time when he was young... but as he became better (and became Hakeem), he tended to dunk less and less. He also won championships and MVP's. I'm fine with T-mac following a similiar track.
Are you serious? He goes off for 40 plus against a tough jazz team and this is what you write about? I'm happy he isn't dunking because it shows he is playing within his body's limitations and not putting himself at needless risk. If you think t-mac isn't fully healthy and have watched the last 4 games, I can't help you. Dunking is like driving in golf. You dunk for show, you do all the other stuff for the dough. I'll take the other stuff for the dough, thank you very much. Go rewind tonights tape to the 3 that put the rockets up 18-3. Lip read. Mcgrady had the scowl, and screamed Let's go. This is the t-mac the rockets traded for from orlando.
like the majority of people on this thread...i think i wanna see the houston have a good chance at playoffs instead of getting high on a cheap thrill of seeing tmac dunking...his health first...sick dunks second
If you remember last year's comments of when will Stromile Swift do anything else on the floor but dunk, you'd realize the lack of importance of it. No one else on the team dunked either IIRC. 44 points while winning in convincing fashion over an excellent team but wanting a dunk is like getting front row tickets sent to you compliments of Yao Ming and then saying well don't I get a free drink along with this?
The body motion, weight distribution, and muscle contractions in a dunk are detrimental to his back condition. The extention to rise up is not good for the back. The violent and jarring motion of hitting the rim is not good for the back. The weight of your lower body pulling on your back as you hang of the rim is not good for your back.
i agree dunks show authority...but how about them 44 pts eh eh? yeah id take 44 pts over him injuring himself again. dunks are pretty though...off the glass anyone?
