Bonzi is healthy now. Even JVG said it. Don't you remember all that talk about Bonzi not wanting to be a "half" rotation player so he chose to play Snyder instead.

The Organization has consistently lied to the press about players and their reasons for not playing.

Earlier this year it was Bonzi not being in shape, or injured, which the Bonz called BS on......

Actually not a big deal, but it does call into question their credibility.

If ever anyone was looking for an indictment of our educational system, look no further... Geez.

it's obvious that you know little to nothing about what assistant coaches do. not trying to be rude, but you are throwing these comments out as facts, when you really seem to not know what you are talking about.

JVG stated that Bonzi is NOT injured as this thread clearly shows. In case thats not clear enough for you, heres the link to the article itself.

You know better than this. I've always been proud of how well this franchise keeps things in-house as much as possible. It would be foolish to do otherwise.

"We" don't eat our own. Unless "we" do it here. :D

Solid analysis on the Bonzi situation from Jonathan Feigan this afternoon. Answers a few questions I think some have on the situation:

In other words he doesn't want Bonzi to play. He'd rather have Shane out there tired than give Bonzi some time.

I mean he wants to play, so why not just sit him. What a joke.

When has ANY team ever come out in the media and discussed it's behind-closed-doors business? You're kidding right?

No doubt that is true, but sometimes reporters of those teams talk about it in the press.

I have to say that the Houston reporters are the most "in the pocket" reporters of any major city I have ever seen.

They NEVER ask any hard questions.

Chalk another one up for Da Knight of Right.....as I said...Bonzi doesn't fit here.

    :D

I think everyone here has shown a lot of patience and dipomacy about Van Gundy.

We love the Rockets- I support the coach of my team. I want to win. JVG is part of that and gets my support.....

In other threads it is disappointing the villification and disrespect of Rudy.

How did this thread get two stars? In the short time I've been posting here, this is seriously the worst thread post I've ever seen...

Been noticing a lot of really... "questionable" posts from this guy, actually.

Look I'm a noted Homer when it comes to the Rockets...but the Oliver Stone theories when it comes to the organization this season really have no validity. I mean I know I don't need to throw the numbers at you, but the team is headed towards it's best regular season in over a decade. Maybe we should let them play out the entire season before whining about what went wrong. I mean I expect this out of Texans fans (they don't know what winning is like), but you guys are better than this. Yeah, and I guess because the majority of the media are not jerks, and don't have an adversarial relationship with the players, means tough questions aren't asked. The Bonzi story has been beaten to death, and nothing has changed. Stay behind the team guys. The Red Rowdies have been awesome all year long...the building has been much more enthusiastic. Let's keep it going until late June. CD needs his 7th ring as a retirement gift.

I can tell you right now even if JVG doesn't think Bonzi fits with this group, I would still find some way to play him. He brings alot more playoff experience than both Luther and Battier. Luther is just not going to get alot of open 3pt. looks come playoff time. Teams will zero in on him and that is the only way he can hurt the other team, he is also at risk of being posted up by the bigger guards in Harpring, Brewer, Stackhouse, George and Howard. Plus Luther couldn't break a fullcourt press to save his life. I like Luther for this team cuz he can really spread the floor in the regular season, but not at the expense of a proven playoff player.

JVG needs to get Bonzi some playing time, so he can bring some much needed toughness and playoff experience to this team.
